I though all selling of accounts was illegal, even if its for game gold?

Market forum rules state:
"Silkroad Forums strictly prohibits the following:
Sale of digital items, gold or accounts for cash or In Game Gold value."
This was done mainly to stop gold trading between servers (selling ingame gold for ingame gold)

I went to

and looked at the rules there and it didn't say anything about the trading of ingame gold being illegal .
Not my fault that there is contrast in the forum rules
