How much more does SOM cost than similar item SOs?

Since SOM is so much rarer and stronger than SOstar, I am wondering what u guys/gals think it is worth? Forget weapons, just protector for this question pls. I come across stalls all full of SOs but one item is SOM and only a little more, I usually grab the SOM if I think it is useful to me or can be sold for more. I say if it is a small item like gloves or shoes, surely a SOM would be worth twice as much as SOs. If it was a chest or legs or head I would think three times at least. Sometimes in the stalls I see, the SOM is overlooked and priced the same as or 1.5x as SOs.

som is goood enough for the whole degree , lets say som+3 and over is better than a pimped gear of the last tier of the degree.
I.e SOM 52+5 is better than 60+5 weapons
sos is nice , but the 60+5 weapon will beat the crap out of the sos+5.

about som gear , it is nice to have , weill definetly help on pvp , but if your just grinding or farming is not that usefull , unless u have a som/sun weapons and want to gring higher lvl mobs

well som do well in farmingand pvp
u will be able to own many of ur lvl or atleast all the user with ur degree even if u where pure int ( low hp )

som will never be half the price of a sos in weapons and shield
