My thoughts. All bots that have "fight" in them are pretty much gone. A few remain in Epic union and warchild union. Epic is on the down, warchild never really got off to a good start to begin with. All bot guilds that showed inprovement in numbers are turkish guilds. The gold bot bans have allowed turkish players around 1000 more server spots to fill. Before the bans we had traffic pretty much all day round. Now we still have traffic all european peak hours, but at us/asian times we are half full. Do gold bots turn there bot off to sleep? no. All the spots left open by gold bots got flooded with new turkish bots building up turkish based guilds.

So while we wooped the competitive american/asian/western european guilds, we are being overrun by the passive "bot, bot, plvl, plvl, never pvp" turkish botters.

Other then the server space they take up, they dont pose a threat to the legit community. But that does not mean we should let then slip thu and go unchecked. We are Avalon have taken note of this invasion and we are planning our next move in fighting back hard.

Seeing the growth in Turk players in Venus, I've wondered what would bring them here. Is it simply an open server slot? I know there are different servers dominated by different nationalities (for example, if you are Kuwaiti, you go to XXX server). Are there just so many Turk players that they'll even come to an inhospitable legit server like Venus? And like you said, what's the point? They don't PvP. They don't war. They need to pay money to a cafe to login just to bot. I don't have anything against Turks but it has always struck me as odd that they would settle in Venus.

only guilds on the front page of rev6 are counted. the idea being that if the ratio stays the same, the front page is a pretty accurate picture of the whole server.


and yeah, turks seem to swarm all over the free server slots. Something is making silkroad very appealing to them and that something is what the legit community needs to knock out. Donno what that is yet. What we need is more information from the turkish fan sites and forums.

And this is not an anti-turk thread/post in anyway. Its anti-bot. We have turks in our union. We have turks in our guilds. If the mainstream turkish community came together and formed legit turkish guilds, we would welcome them as brothers. We spent the last year fighting the english/german botters and because we share almost the same culture, we used tactics and weapons that we knew would be effective. English players NEED glory. Takeing the hope of fortress victory away broke there ranks.

What do turkish players NEED in order to make venus fun for them? Thats what we need to find out. We need to get inside the heads of the botting internet cafe turks and find out how we can beat them.

I'd love to hear from Turk legits who have some insight into the cultural phenomenon of Turks and SRO. Do you know other Turks who bot in Venus? Why Venus and not another server? Venus is far more English-speaking than any other server. I've always wondered what Turk SRO boards say about Venus. Do they know that this is the "legit" server? Do they care? Is the legit proportion of Turk players on Venus greater than other servers because of what's been accomplished or is there no impact? Should we start a legit Turk guild that can implement the same policies but in another language? Its interesting...

got nothing against turks, we need translators to help those who are good and honest enough to become legit come join us. I only know 2 words hayir and s.a, if you respond back with either you get spamed in turkish

sure the confederation has a turkish translation of the rules by how often will a turk even get refered there unless they can already speak english or find the random english speaking turk in a legit union already, maybe some one should make a new legit turk guild

umm, well in pvp turkish bots will usually leave if they lose over and over and over and get humiliated, sometimes by swearing at them... but they would hardly admit losing...

So true. This is the first thing that piss off a turk in front of her/his computer. They even start lots of idiot spam topics when they cant login the server.

They don't PvP. They don't war.

Coz they know they cant do a shit against us. They cant win a GW, they cant win FW, and they know they cant rob our trade runs. RiskUrLife challanged me when I was still in Odyssey. I said OK, lets have a war. But they didnt know my guild name. When their guild leader saw my guild, he came up with real owner of the char is on vacation blabla and bitched out.

I think the main reason of high turkish population, they have lots of spots to bot freely and w.o being ksed. Second thing that can piss of a Turk is ksing them (being ksed made me lvl15 murderer on Aga yesterday). Ks their bot and they will go crazy and make their bot murderer. I know some Turks who was thinking of quiting when albel murdered their bots and got their items (we pissed them off on a turkish forum too much with mai )

Starting a legit Turk guild. Well..I can try to get some Turks do it. But I cant be the leader of that turkish guild. First reason is they lie tooooooo much. When there will be a problem, lets say someone catch a Turk using loader, Im sure they will lie to the end and never accept it. And when I kick him/her, the first thing he will say, "ure Turk, Im Turk, so u have to back up me. How come a Turk kick another Turk. Ure traitor." and s/he will convince other turks in guild rebel against me.

Most known characteristic of Turks on the game, they re so fackin selfish and uncoltrolled. The main reason of that much turkish guild is that. When there is a problem between guildies, first thing u will read in guild chat is fack mother/sister/family. If u gonna want him to calm down and not to response, now he will start to swear at u. U cant control them, nearly imposible. Also they always want to be in charge or be guild leader. So they always start their own guild.

The things I would suggest for fighting against Turk population, ks their plvl pts, bots, make them murderer.

The thing I would never suggest for fighting against Turk population, never try to get them to merge into 1 big guild/union. Only thing they need is a leader like Fly. And I know there will be ppl like Fly inside them if they gonna merge. And when this happen, we will have really really strong enemy.

there are several people of other nationalities exactly like you described, surely turks can't be beyond reason. Even one legit turkish guild of a decent size would be a good start. Maybe even their own union, I think its better to be some where most every one can speak the same langauge at least amungst leaders

I think that, the problem is the bot's powerlvl really, i could say that erm... like.. 40% of the turkish community gets powerlvled, there are like 40% that bot also, then its like 10% legit and the other 10% doesnt do anything (loggin, play beg for plvl, logg off /dont care)

I've thought in this.
All we need to do is a very hard thing, take their powerlvl away.
Low lvls life -> Log in-> See who's online -> Beg for plvl -> get plvl from a fellow turksman. It's basicly that.
There are some that just login and bot, and then sometimes get plvl too.
High lvls life -> Log in -> if they're capped, powerlvl guild/union mates -> pvp,get owned, give up ->Powerlvl some more.

So, we all know how turks , erm yeah, so, you can even be ksing them that they just wont care.. So, it'd be easier i guess to fight against the turks that get plvl and not the ones that plvl, cause really if a high lvl turkish botters couldnt plvl, what would they do?, Job/get owned? pvp/get owned? They'd get bored. Then since turkish ppl are friends amongst them i believe, it'd all be like a chain, since low lvls wouldnt like, act normal (get plvl) High lvls wouldnt pl either, making the turkish community be paralized, the only ones lvling would be the botters, the others would probly start in other server, probly bringing more turks with em, and then the that get capped would realize the same thing and go after them.

i know it's a very confusing explanation, just woke up, but you guys get what i mean O.o

Valuable insight. Maybe Turks are, in general, just much younger than...ummm...Western[?] players. I know the legit population of Venus is, on the whole, older than the average ages of other servers.

One thing that might help is a webpage, in turkish, describing the legit bot war and the confederation and its rules. We already have a translated verion of the rule in turkish. If we give examples of the turkish players on venus, show the sharp difference between the legit ones (mai, asyamura, agamoto) and the weak bot ones and prove to the turks that legit = strong on venus. Provide them with a good argument of this and put it on a easy to reach url. http://www.legitvenus.tr or something like that.

Global chat is once every hour or 2 and get the word out. Maybe we will see a difference in the turkish attitude towards botting. I have met turks just like us that HATE the internet cafe 10 year olds. Like SirTurk, he healed nb while she was doing a bot trap for about 2 hours even tho she did not need healing. He talked about sro and turks and said that he hates those 10 year old turks that ruin the turkish gamers image. But even so, he ended up in a non-legit turkish guild cuz there is no alternative.

Im willing to bet that there are TONS of turks just like him that are legit and will follow the legit way if given the option.

No one thought venus was possible. English players bot just as much on other servers. On venus we (being english players) fixed this with alot of hard work and effort. We were only able to do so cuz we can understand each other and we know how to get across to each other.

If our efforts have an effect and can unite a small legit turkish community, we could expand on it and offer them there own addition to the confederation. A turkish Dungeon to keep there ranks clean. Avalon invaded venus with only 6 members from xian. All we need is something to start out with in the turkish community and from there we can expand it into something equal to what we did with the english players.

If a turkish legit community dominates the bot turks in pvp and south gate, they would think twice about botting here on venus. and the new players would think alot more then just twice about starting to bot here.

i remember seeing that a lot on xian too. ud always get a zillion pms whenever u killed a unique from turks asking where it was.
