Eh, I've learned to take the bitter with the sweet on the line thing. Sometimes you can be forgotten if you don't remind them, sometimes you can be in-line for hours on end. Bitter with the sweet hun; just have patience that there's still another day that you can grind, even if today's unfruitful. Or you can just go terrorist on everyone's ass. lolol

Aye, although it's hard to forget somebody, who you asked to leave the party in the first place. One would think.

Well, I think it would be better if all the 7X with gaps would go back the gens or wherever they belong and stop trying to get into chasers parties. I refuse to party with 7X people at the chasers (except like 2 people).

or normal wing tribe (78, 80)its better then gens if your tanks got la or robes, less hp and no block
had a good party there along time ago it was way faster then gens, but ya the line system is hard to be perfect when you got multiple people or the party leader may change

chasers should be fore 72+ bards and 76+ everything else (11 lvl gap is max in my opinion)

I disagree. 2 days ago a party had a lvl 76 bard, a 7X cleric and a 7X wizard. The others were 80+. Everyone died multiple times.

Yesterday, I partied with only 80+ people (some of the same ppl from the previous party). Only died once because I forgot to put my pots in the quickslot and everyone else did really well too. Also got a TON more xp than the other party. The level 80 skills make a WORLD of difference up there.

As for the line problem I will gladly skip someone if they dont belong there or if someone else is way more capable of doing their job. The point of grinding is to get xp, not to babysit others.

I Agree completley, Its unfair for a lvl 90 to grind on lvl 85 mobs with a bunch of lvl 7x doing the killing, thats absolute torture,

lvl 7x people would never consider that tho, not when there xp and sp is streaming in as fast as it does.

So what is the solution. I would love to go reg wing 78-80 but I have yet to see that advertised. It is Gens or Gens or No Gens. Is it a status thing to say "yeah I grind at Roc now"? pfffft. You can grind at Roc in a party with mobs from devil eye/yachal/nachal level - guards/gens level up to rockys you aint gotta grind in Takla. Hell, lets grab some of them bushman boomerang throwing guys.......I guarantee you they run faster than fraking guards where you lose 1/2 of them trying to pull a big lure. They don't spawn fast enough, they have magic attack, they don't group well, they don't they don't we don't we don't.........go solo already.

The Solution is probally at the discrestion of the party,

i thought of this senario earlier,
Theres a wings party with a line of say 5 people, the people in line are all 8x
There are 2 people below level 75 @ the wings party.
A generals party is Short of 2 characters to get started, and they have been trying for hours to get the paryt started.

I would hope there is Courtesy for the 7x to go to generals, and the 8x in line join the wings,
Our unions can be pretty Good at communication,

Also something to note is A wings party with 7/8 people wating to start will try to convince someone from a working gens party to come wings so they can start.
So i think there is shit on both sides of the fence,
Just keep communicating, thats probally all there is to it ? o.o

Spank you know as well as anyone else there's not enough ints on the chasers. If you take away the 7X thats even less. You can't tell people where they can or can't grind, that's not fair at all.

If you don't want 7X in a 85+ party, let the 7X make their own party on wings, a full 74+ party should be able to handle themselves perfectly fine up there.

Im not TELLING anyone to do anything. Im stating the obvious. The practical. If theres not enough ints at the chasers then that sucks. The 7X should be at lower mobs working their way up to fix that problem. If everyone is dying and getting shitty xp, no one improves anyway.

But instead we stay with 1/2 a party at Gens and no one is leveling up fast enough to get to wings because the parties can't get going......but then again we have had plenty of capped and/or 8x players come back and help at Gens hence I am now 70...thank you all very much. I know the deal with ticket time and you certainly don't want to waste it on mobs you get little to no xp on. I am not proposing plvling but the powerpartying has been helping others level faster. We can't all just jump up to wings when we hit 72-76 and crowd up spots causing lines at wings and holes at Gens.....well I guess we can but in the end it will kinda be a lose lose.

No matter I am not Wings level so look for me at Gens put me on your friends list. I am wiz/bard both at 68 and if I can eeek out enough sp, they will both be at 70. If you wanna go do some 7x-80 roc mobs instead of Gens for a change of pace count me in.

I agree with both, but then those 7x guys have to wanna leave first. And im pretty sure they dont want to.

Letting some level 7X with a 9 gap in a party full of 8X is called POWERLEVELING. Some people dont mind, others do. If all those 7X ppl got together and made a party, it would probably be better for all.

humping a horse is more usefull then getting a party killed.

there is a reason the generals exist. 68-76 = generals.

whats funny, is going to gens, and helping out, and ppl say they want to go to wings. I lol'd and told them they will all die. If ppl want wings so badly, make a 78-80 wings pt to try it out. For those of you that never spent a long time in the gens, like most of us before the 90 cap, they aren't really that bad. Some of us grinded for a year there.

im not saying all the 7x should go straight to chasers and skip generals, but just wanted to point out that its not called powerleveling (im sure nb already knows that tho :P). and btw why dont people go to wingtribes (lvl 78 ones i think) and go to gens :?. dont gens have stun + block? =\

powerleveling is when your exp/sp is going up while your contributing nothing or very little.

a bard in a pt with a tambour up and not giving out mp = powerleveling
a level 70 wizard nukeing for 2k on a pt mob, while a 76 player is nuking 10k = powerleveling
9 gapped build of any kind thats on a mob too high for him = powerfarming/powerleveling

thats why planning is the best thing you can do. if you know that you need to farm at chasers, but cant contibute at level 76, go to gens. once your 78 or 79 and your mastery is high enough on your 9 gap to where you can do some damage / pull lures without dieing / give enough mp to ints / debuff mobs, then go chasers.
