someone decided to put a random spam bot on me i had no choice but to cancel all pms >.< i tried to do nb's font thing but it wouldnt let me delete arial. Why does this shit always happen to me. i cant play sro without pms i have a windows xp media center edition can anyone please help me.


Which one should i delete? i tried deleting all of them but still wouldnt work it would just say Arial truetype is already installed please remove the old version to blah blah blah

Hard way to get results is to keep going back one letter to find out how to type his name.

For example

|||||||||||(L or i) then go one more etc.

Otherwise what worked for me if they spammed me; I'd log out and log back in. Seemed to stop it. By the way, wth are they telling you? lol

something about mr crawford and having sex with some babys and someone should of known i did something really creepy stuff its a auto typer no human being can type that fast and press enter it just doesnt happen and it started spamming me before i even loaded up hotan

Then install the modified arial.ttf and reboot your PC.

And block the sucker!

ummm, why are you pming them???? you know, you block the ALL CHAT way, not the PMs way... you use the unlimited blocks, not the 20 blocks...

Umm, yup like Astra said... or, you can simply ask someone else in game.. problem is that my list has prolly over 100 blocked names, some of them are miss spelled names lol.. I even had anal for a LONG time blocked and always been wondering why is he always silent and quiet lmfao... had to unblock him a few days ago -.-

i dont have only arial its strange and when i try throwing nbs arial in there i get


i have arial black arial bold italic arial italic 4 arial narrows arial rounded and arial unicode only And i never pmed anyone i just logged in to go to ctf all of a sudden i see a bunch of spam. just logged in fresh new morning same old spammer >.<

Name the file the same as it should show in the folder. If it is there, it will ask if you want to replace it. If not, then hopefully the problem is solved. xP

name the downloaded one the same as the one in My fonts? or the other way around i tried changing the name from Arial Black to Arial but it says name already exists. i tried changing the downloaded one to arial black but still same sum up. i did a search on my computer for arial but nothing came up only those arials thats inthe folder >.< why do computers have to be so complicated

awww, I got you wrong at first... I thought it was the normal city gold bot spammers.. wow, sux to know about it... well you might have to try all combination and write them down on a paper and then try them out one by one.. that's the classical dumb way... other wise you gotta some how change your font :S

teddy i did that. for 2 hours. nothing worked. i found arial its in my service pack files but idk what to do with it

Click on their name in chat and it'll pop up in your chat type as:

" $IIIIIIIIIIII: / "

Now move your curser to the first character, delete it, and replace it with a lowercase L = "l". It'll look the same but it will read:

" $lIIIIIIIIIII: / "

Put a letter in the chat like this:

" $lIIIIIIIIIII: asdf "

And press return. Look in the note screen. If there is a note that says "user not found" that means the first character is a cap i "I" and not a lowercase L "l".

If the message did go through, then it means the first character is a lowercase L "l" and not a cap i "I".

Write down the letter that worked. Either the original cap i "I" or the new lowercase L "l".

If the message did not go through, replace the first character with the original cap i "I" again.

If the message did go through, leave it.

Go to the next character and do the same thing so it'll look like this:

" $IlIIIIIIIIII: / " if the first character was an i "I"

and like this:

" $llIIIIIIIIII: / " if the first character was an L "l"

(I know they'll appear the same, but you now know what the first char is).

After doing this 12 times, you will know all the correct letters. Just type what you've written in the block box and you're set.

If it doesn't work, it just means there's another IIIIIIIIIIII online at the time...one who isn't PMing you.

All you need to do is take the name that you've already verified and change the letters to the opposite and find which one goes through.

Our guild was also spammed by PMs like you.

I have 4 combinations in my whisper block:
(reverse the caps for all letters)

1. 6 i's - 1 L - 2 i's - 3 L's
2. 5 i's - 3 L's - 4 i's
3. 4 i's - 4 L's - 1 i - 1L - 1i - 1L
4. 3 i's - 7 L's - 2 i's

Zanam I understand how you feel I just got spammed with spaces, said screw it and turned off my PM's. Temp fix I guess.

it is realy easy to pk2 and make them look normal but i wont risk it to get baned

replacing the arial font is WAY safer.

well for me it says it is being used and i closed all that i could and still cant delete it.
