Lack of Tanks, Clerics

becuase since those bot banns there is a lack of active players(Tanks,Clerics)

When did you add Cleric? You should've made it a tank/warlock, you rocked as a tank on Starke.

Is it just me or is anyone confused by the comment that there is a lack of active players since the bot ban (Tanks/Clerics). We wouldn't be partying with bots anyway whether they were tanks/clerics so I am confused by the "lack of active 'legit' players" you can party with having anything at all to do with the bot ban. Unless there were some legit tanks/clerics that somehow inadvertantly got banned. ???????????

But yes there is a lack of cleric/tanks right on up to Generals.

I was a pure warlock til i hit lvl 35 or something... No one wants a warlock, so i got a cleric sub and - voila - no more problems finding a party^^ Well, my sub is almost a full cleric...

I have made a cleric as well to play as an alt during my down times and to party with some of the new arrivals. I shouldn't have too many problems finding parties eh. Give me a few more levels and meet me at crabs. Now if I can only figure out how to play a cleric.

Talk to some of the warrior tanks about dropping 1h for two (positives and negatives) unless your mind is made up. At pegs/guards/gens I rarely see 2H warriors tanking mostly 1H. That isn't to say there aren't any but with cleric as your sub it would be easy to switch rod for sword and never drop your shield defense. Just a thought.

Lack of tanks = people are afraid to make a build that can't solo well (unless they get 2h, which they can't use in parties, which means they have to sp farm)
Lack of Clerics= People too lazy to sp farm.

Like i said I am working a noob cleric. Got to level 13 in about an hour and 1/2 yesterday soloing and one party at ruins with them barto soilder something guys level 8-10. Anyway, all I have to say is cleric is a pretty stressful job. Everyone relying on you to keep them alive. I don't know how you guys do it but I love you when you do. I will keep leveling this noob and maybe at least be able to help in 2x-3x parties in a week or so since I only play it on down times.

If they don't want warlock you should just show them this quote from Astra, one of the best 'locks on Venus.

Warlock debuffs together are almost the same damage increase the bards give with the dance, around 35-40% increase.
But there's an extra thing that comes with a warlock in the party - zerk.
The killing rate is 2x times faster with a warlock in the party, at least with the constant zerk they give to the whole party.
So many ppl, mostly wizards (Goob, Corrupt, Khaara, Lemon) told me that when I'm in their party the killing rate increases tremendously, and I don't even have to debuff the mobs, cause the party is zerking almost 24/7.

to be honest, i havent seen many 2h tanks at ong/sungs/buns either. dropping 1h would mean u wont be invited in parties much :\

OT: well, i have a lvl 36 warlock/cleric, with max cleric buffs, but im not playing it anymore. i always thought being warrior was fun, but soloing is a pain in the ass.
