Today we were at rockies, we killed a PTG and a "blaze mitten" dropped, i noticed it was SoX, i said holy shit sos. It was distributed to gin, and we all said ROLL in party chat, meanwhile MagicRik is pm'ing Gin saying he will pay good money for the sun, gin trades it to rik, and we say rik you have to roll for it. he starts bitching about how we never rolled anything before. but rolling was originally HIS IDEA. he even said in party chat prior to trading gin

"thats drop"
"we roll for"
"since its mitten"

it led to him being greedy and being kicked from avalon and the party, he is now blacklisted in the confederation.

BroomHandle is his alt and is also not allowed to be partied with

what does "roll" mean? i have never been in a high level party, so i dont know much...but yeah, that wsa pretty greedy of him...

someone picks a number that isnt in the running for the drop.
usually 1-100. they all pick the a number and the one closet to it gets the item

I would like to point out, that BHA (or atleast SD) never accepted to "roll" for drops, or never heard about it till today. Gin traded it to Rik simply because he speaks english bad and didnt understand what's happening to him, he thought he would get money or his drop back.

well i guess that works. but that might cause make it like, 1 guy gets 5 sox, some which he wont need, and another guy gets none >.>. couldnt it be like, give drop to whoever absolutely needs it? it might cause lesser amounts of flame =\

we rolled for items meny times with BHA members in our parties and they have gotten the items just like the rest of us.

its the only real fair way to do it. if a sosun staff or 2h dropped in front of me, id roll that mofo between the people who did the work to get it, the party members.

now if it was a chinese sosun and the pt is all euros. its 100% urs.

if you get a drop and you can use it: its yours.
if you get a drop and a party member can use it: its theres.
if you get a drop and meny party members can use it: they roll for it
if you get a drop and no one can use it: its yours to sell or rondo or w/e


you dont have to agree. our pt, our rules. when its your party, we will follow your rules 100%. but we should get some kind of univsersal rules so that it does not matter which union pt it is.

I agree with Fly. Sad part is there are way too many greedy ppl. I've tried to convince Ody members to do this with each other. And for the most part is has worked. And overall I think it will help the members become better friends and gain the trust that is needed to play with Euro chars.

I have never heard of rolling until this either, but then again I haven't been in a party where anything significant has dropped, and yes usually we trade what we need to trade on drops, but nothing significant. Had I been there, I would have said that this way of "rolling" would have been entirely appropriate given the circumstances. All that has happened is one person got what they wanted and has effectively alienated himself from others over something that technically does not exist. Why Rik would you give up all that you had over an sos item? The only honorable thing to do would have been to trade the item back to JIN and roll for it. This kind of behavior just makes me sad.

I think the rondo lie is bullshit, I may have interpreted wrong but i think gin said Rik said he is going to sell his +8 and give the money from the staff to Gin.

BHA doesn't roll for items but we did have a previous discussion about drops in which most people agreed on rules very similar to the ones Fly posted. If you're too greedy to give up a drop that you can't use and a party member could use, then you're a douchebag and you'll probably be sent to the back of the line when it comes to parties. So I guess BHA works on an honor system and trusts it's members to do the right thing. Most of us do a good job when it comes to giving items up to someone that could use them but there are those that just see $$$$ signs. If you're too greedy to do a good deed then the rest of the party will do the same to you next time

Well I for one won't miss his know it all attitude. Try to force tanks to switch their builds and then not heal them over it lol.
