So recently ( as of 2 or 3 days ago ) both me and an old sro mate of mine have been playing on venus. So today after some great PT grinding to get him to lvl 24 ( with no cleric, wish i took some s/s of it.. was a top effort ) we decided to go on our first trade run on venus. Little did we know how insane it was going to turn out to be.

It started out just like any other normal trade run. We departed from Downhag with a whole heap of spirit in our hearts our gold in our horses. After letting some near by goldbots handle the earth ghosts ( i guess they are handy for something ) we quickly entered chajik territory. After being mobbed by literally 15 chajik ( i really wish i s/s'd it ) we quickly ran for the dock, hoping to escape our troubles. Little did we know thats where they all began.

After allowing my friend to stay on his horse till we hit jangan, it was time for him to come help kill some things. But being the smart man he is, he forgot his wizard staff now immediately after hearing this bad news, things got worse. I had just switched to my cleric staff ready to cast immunity when BAM! a double spawn surrounding me. Before i knew it i was frozen in place with 4 thieves attacking me and a wizard in my party with no staff >.>

I tried to bless myself but it was all in vain, i couldn't do a thing when frozen. Before i knew it i was dead. But all was still well and good, FinalDeath who ran away like a helpless puppy could ress me. But not only did he forget his wizard staff, he forgot his cleric rod too! >.> Sadly we didn't start taking s/s till after this, so just use your imagination ^_^

Now after quickly porting back to Downhag and running back to my loot as quick as i can, i find out that FinalDeath had dc'd >.< ( hes so unreliable ). So just as i pick up my goods, he comes back... typical

So we set off on our way back to jangan. After a lot more killing of mangyangs and almost letting my unreliable friend die a few times, we made it safely. Below are a collection of s/s taken by the both of us, just to make it more fun. If i knew i was going to write this i would of taken more s/s and used them in the story, but oh well. I only took a couple at the end, the rest are the work of FinalDeath.

Hope you enjoyed the read. My run reminded me of the days of the 60 cap doing my first ever trade run, I dont think i have had this much fun on sro in ages and it couldn't of been with a better bloke. This was one night i will never forget.

It's nice to read that peeps do have fun playing sro. Hope you'll have more of these enjoyable moments in sro

Once I hit 40 I might consider jobbing a bit. I want to be able to move into Avalon so I can spawn those huge trade monsters. Then go on an insane 5 star trade run like back in the days.

Glad to see people are having fun on sro at such a low lvl, i remember the good old days.
Its really hard to do those on babel, or probably any other server. There aren't any lvl 20s that can talk and there are way too many mean 80+s that knock you out if they see you. I remember having more fun doing the noobie trades than doing the current high lvl behemoth ones.

Those mean ppl are the botters and on Venus, they are very quiet.

Trade run is so fun with friends, i remeber when me and my bro both had china chars and we used 2 trade run Jang to DW, those were very good time ^^
now we both have Euros and we sometimes go thiefing together, 1 rogue and 1 wiz both invisible , my rogue is only lvl 3 thief hes wiz is allready lvl 4 .
The best memories i have from SRO is when ive been doing something with some1 i know

couldnt agree more than that.

I still remember my first lvl 20 trades, it was so much fun. Was probably the first time i had fun in sro.

It's still good that there's a few people on SRF that have fun in the game, and share those moments with us.

lol nice . my first trade was at lvl 30, but with 2 6x hunters, so it was quite easy . looks like ur friend isnt that reliable .
