Venus is an excellent server, and has a great legit community. Fly and the others have worked hard on it.

As for the Euro parties--there are 4 main types of parties in Venus: Ong powerleveling (which costs around 150k/hour), Penons, PEGS, and Niya Generals.
Otherwise, there are some ocasionally rare Mujigi parties.

If you intend to be mainly a bard or cleric class, you are at the mercy of your powerlevelers. Sometimes a person from BHA-Avalon union might feel generous enough to powerlevel you once in a while, but that's about it. In any case, be prepared to solo a lot.

That's odd. When I was lvling up in Venus we had parties at Sungsungs, Golden Spiders, Mujigi, Penons, Yetis, PowerEarthGhosts, Yacha, Bones/Guards, and Gens. Maybe it was because I contact people I normally partied with and we became a close group in BHA. All it takes is a little EFFORT to find a party. There's a friends list in game for reason.

My post is based entirely on my recent experience on Venus. I made a character there last week and this is what I saw. There were mainly Ongs, Penons, PEGS, and Generals on party match. Yes, I know there are more than 4 mobs after level 40. But those 4 mobs are the most common in party match. Of course, there might be more types of mob people grind on that it seems, since many players don't bother to put level caps or descriptions in the party match screen. I also know that there is a friends list, because my friends list of my main character in Poseidon is always capped.

You are missing the point. The point of my post is that it's hard to find parties at low levels in Venus. Unless of course, you are trying to dispute that. In that case, you'd be wrong.

My point is still valid; find a group of friends and make your parties that way. My post was in all intentions a "this is what you should do" not a "omg noob you don't know what you're talking about". Think before you type your reply please.

If all else fails, solo and talk in guild/ union chat. Eventually a party does come around.

Edit: Anyways, I'm done with this "argument" if anyone wants to put it that way. Venus is my new home and it's much better than any other servers I've been on. At least I can find a party here, and know that all the members are not "afk grinding". Your points are valid and in most cases true. But don't deny that what I have said is not infact true as well.

i've gotta agree with goob that it takes a little effort to get a party; dont expect to sign in and people jump all over you with party offers

but all it takes is asking someone in guild to union it for you

between the bha/avalon union it shouldnt take more than half an hour - hour tops to get a party rolling

**under 27 ish it is impossible to get parties - which is where the ong plvl comes into play; but even so, it does not take long to get to that level soloing if need be**

By stating "Think before you type your reply please," you contradict yourself and reinforce my suspicion that your tone insinuates "omg noob you don't know what you're talking about."

But let's not get into that. We're here to help out the TC, not subtly bash each other.

To TC: As Goob said, talk to your guildies and ask for help. You might find some rare parties early on, but your best bet is to be powerleveled to atleast level 30 (so that you can find people to grind with at Sungsungs atleast).

Edit: No Goob, I'm not denying anything you are saying. You are right, parties do exist, but it takes a lot more effort to find one at lower levels. The most common parties can be found at level 35+. I'm only pointing out the things that happen most commonly. Yes, let's end this "argument."

No one should deny that there is a problem for lower level people to find parties. For those of you who are at generals, your numbers could be a bit decieving for how it is for the rest of us. The decline of activiness among our <50 members in SD has some to do with this. When you end up not finding a party 2-3 days in a row it starts to get less fun.

low lvl sub clerics work as efficient as full time clerics... but thats not true at higher lvls when higher lvled skills really shine and differ...

No one can deny the game doesn't start coming into it's own until level 40, thats when parties and ALL of the fun starts to happen. We have actually set union chat as a reward for hitting 40 in our guild and compared to other servers we have had guilds on this has been the most active by far. Not to say that is the only reason, finding parties (any parties) having come from a solo server is a blessing. Have patience and be willing to be the one to take the lead to get the party going and you should be rewarded in short order.
