Joining Venus

Now, i have been playing this game for almost 3 years. I took some breaks tho. But I am sick of all those servers where u can't lvl up unless u are plvled. There is just no low lvl parties.
Could Venus be the right server for me? Are there people who are willing to help me in the start, or someone to hook me up.
Eos was almost perfect in the start, but it turned out horrible.
I am willing to buy silk on Venus and stuff and get capped asap.

There are two remarks I would like to note:
1) you should remove the info about the account you sold from your sig
2) legit parties usually start at crabs at Venus and then jump to sungs, but there are other parties you can join before that,well most of the time.

My first legit party was at barpoles. It is true venus is a great server.

As I said they usually start at crabs, sometimes you can find lower level parties but in my experience it is not common.

I sold my account to a IRL friend of mine, so I can't see any problem with that.
get to 0 asap, yeah, but it's just asap. I mean like, I still got school and friends
So alot of goldbots at Hotan area? It's nothing new to me

Who you sold it to is not important, it is still against the rules and seriously why do you need to inform us that you sold a char to someone?

Yeah my sig is retarded, that doesn't change the fact that you sold an account. If you can't understand a friendly advice then there is nothing I can do for you.

Venus is awsome,but dont expect parties whenever you like,you have to get one organized by advertising by the Union etc.(join a legit guild)
And as the rest said,party mostly starts at Crabs,then Sungs,Muijjis,Penons,Yetis,PEGs,Guards etc.

I don't think you will find the Venus the right place. I'm guessing the state of player parties is pretty much the same in every server. Silkroad fails because of the epic third party software and botting premium members. Silkroad is far from what it used to be. The party matching window is full of taxis and if you are lucky, you can find a handful of actual ones.
Although, if you do join venus, there is circle of active Estonian players.

If you want a guild in Constantinople there's usualy a guy stalling either Argonaut or iRecruit just leave a msg in his stall and he will reply his guild has alot of low levels so it will be easier to find a party but yes parties usually start from crabs but way more at sungs and of course they arent there 24/7 >.> it seems that people just cant get used to that a hind grind cant be there 24/7 =/

I completely agree with nix, Xian is not Venus and vice versa.
We have some spots in OverKill open. Pm either me, Argonaut or Sir_Howard or any OvK member, most of us are in the low 20s to 40s so you can fit right in.

yeah, im in overkill we have an almost daily party going at sungs. occasionally the upper level players come down and give us a hand as well. great legit community if you can ignore the flamewar that takes place in the globals.
lots more room in OvK now that Argo finished cleaning it out

partying at sungs got old when my exp while partying was lower than soloing. you get people from 33 - 40+ partying at sungs (having these high level characters at these mobs royal fux your exp rate.) once i hit 36 i found soloing faster. but then again someone loaned me a bomb as.sed weapon too.

Maybe you should actually play in a legit party rather then spouting random shit you don't actually know anything about. You come here to SRF and ask for taxi's because you wanna plvl, then bash us on the fact that we don't have parties, bullshit. There are parties all the time, the fact that you aren't seeing them is likely because you are either looking for a taxi, or already found one and gone AFK.

meh, ppl should go to mujigis starting at ~37. Also, if you start with a group of ppl you know, you can go from crabs to sungs to mujigis without ever having to solo (thats what i did). just depends on when u start finding pts and if you find a group to play with >.<.

Oh I looked here now after a while and found some posts answering to me
...
I still have to think whether I join Venus or wait till Darkfall comes out.
I've thought about DF but I think that probably my PC will be too weak for that game so I'm thinking of joining Venus for now

I'm gonna be joining Venus as well. I took a break from SRO for about 2 years, and am planning on starting again (though very casually). From what I've heard, it's got a large legit community which will be nice rather than being continuously KS'd by bots. My IGN will be Ixidor. Just have to figure out what build I want to make.
