Ouch.
I remember when elixirs on Eldorado were that much. I boycotted weapon elixirs for a long time. >.> 400k is still a lot compared to how much they are on my server. Last time I bought some, I got them for 325k.

Prices are high because of an influx of capital (gold) into the silkroad economy, or the fact that those that have a "monopoly" of sorts on the distribution of valuables are demanding you pay a higher price for their goods. The best way to make prices go down are refuse to buy from the gold sellers. If you buy from goldsellers it creates an inflationary cycle that can only be stopped by boycotting their items.
Hows about that for an economics lession?

did the economic crisis reach Venus?
a few months ago weapon elixirs were sold for 400k but later the prices dropped to 250k. so nobody panic, just wait for the market to settle down.

Just gold selling companies and players that pay 100 dollars for a pixelized item .... Try to get rid of gold bots? (don't know how, if you can help me with that bot problem I'll be gratefull, till now the leaching method by going in auto share party looks best, they don't get their full gold nor items bcse it's distributed)

Try putting your elixirs in the IGL Trader and we can have our own stall network for only legits.

Yea I remember the prices were "normal" 250k each. Then the server restarted & after that when I checked stall network everything was 500k.
& then of course no one wants to sell weapon elixirs for 200k knowing they could get more than double for them. So I don't see this problem going away soon unless EVERYONE boycotts elixirs.

or supply and demand they have supply you have demand what are you to do?, go without sure thats one way but i bet others will not so happily pay the prices just leaving you in the shit when it comes to having good gears, best thing to do is farm z item and hold, when you have lots flood the market at their price forcing them to undercut you. you then undercut them until you get to a price you feel is good for the market

You would need a lot of that item to do that. Most people would see your super low item, buy it, and restall it for a slightly higher price, or even the full price that other people are getting for them. I have considered selling my elixirs simply because it seems cheaper to sell them and buy a +7 then it is to fail multiple times.

i didnt say super low prices because yes they would do that, you bring it down little by little, not too much so ppl buy you out and resell but not too high ppl wont bother undercutting. and if you have friends do the same it all works out quicker then you think

It really doesn't... If you say, have 1000 weapon elixirs, and sell them for 50k less then competitors, there is no way they would lower their prices. At some point you will run out, assuming that there aren't cheaper ones already listed. At which point, people will go for the more expensive ones. It would literally take hundreds of thousands of elixirs to bring the market down, or a sudden global loss of goldbots.

i never said they would i said the price would drop, how many other bots (not gold) and players would come have a quick look to see what they are going for, decide they want to try sell theirs first and thus go lower, the gold bots will keep the prices high until they have no choice. but this method is how things work in real life, the prices go up and down based on what your competitors are doing the bigger chains will keep their prices more stil only changing when other big competitors change theirs while the little guy trying to get in on the market will go in lower hoping to get a piece of the action
