I understand why GD is so anti-Venus. It is because they have never played Venus before. I think we should start a sort of "conversion" movement. Invite as many people to Venus as possible. In every topic that you perceive as Anti-Venus I want you to civilly engage the GDers in discussion. I want you guys to take them on and strike down every misconception then invite them with open hands. Yes, open hands!

Well, that was my thought originally, but certain forum members had a "less-than-civil" outlook on people coming to Venus.

Oh, and the other thing we need to do: Make the past, the past, not the present.

Edit: To state my own position, I am simply "anti-rules with no flexibility or possibility of variance."

For example, I was playing on Venus once and witnessed a ton of globals about someone banned from his guild because he was partying with a "botter" (read: unguilded, not on whitelist, therefore blacklisted). Perhaps a 7-day suspension would have been better (and also more tolerable to the banned person).

In any case, I don't mean to be negative here or seem to be dwelling on the past (my own statement, hah!), just curious as to the reasoning. And with any large organization you find people who are willing to kick someone for a "rules" violation or even just because he/she is an enemy of their friend...or even save the person breaking the rules.

That does NOT mean playing on Venus in the Confederation can't be fun.

Confed isn't oppressive, it prevents people from being un-legit.

Venus is fun....to grind in.

IF we got more people that started jobbing/pvping/going to FW and fighting.....it would be great. Problem is alot of the BHA guilds are dwindling since SG doesn't play much anymore.

I, personally, only log in to pvp and bot-pk now. Sometimes kill uniques.

That might change soon; I know quite a few bot guilds signed for FW tomorrow. Should be interesting as only Odyssey and Asylum have signed from BHA.

I don't get it, how are we supposed to add people to Venus? 80% of the people that are flaming us are closet botters, only reason they're still here is because no legits are on their servers to ban them. The other 19% is unknown remade accounts of previously banned bots.

Very true, I personaly was astounded at Venus from the moment I logged on the 1st time, there was no confederation then and it was still 80 cap, I was absloutly amazed, when I get friends to try the server they are also astounded, there is no reason that other people wouldnt be to.

i meant like, ubp and bh. Since sg stopped playing for the most part I only see like, a few bh members. mostly SD and the other guilds

As much as i love Venus, i have to say that it has lost its colors.
When the legits party alot... global flame wars all over the place... Unique hunting every 3 hours... 1st few months was the best...
Those days were gone...
i would say things started to go down when ppl are capping... Beginning from Asy.
Pwrlvl parties all over the place now...
Seems identical to the other servers to me now...

I have my own plans for venus which i will one day accomplish. Instead of being so orientated with "legit vs bot" based pvp, why not make it legit vs legit?

We have taken control of this server, the fortress hasn't even been close to being taken. So i think its about time for other legit guilds to try and take it. That is my plan with OurHeaven. Me and Gundam have the plan to one day take the fortress from Avalon. Instead of BHA helping defend the fortress, they should try and take it!

Boost up the pvp in venus and we have the perfect server.

Ontopic: Again, me and Gundam have been doing this as well. We have contacted various members of SRo and sent out an invitation to join us in venus, to experience the movement that we all love. Some have accepted, some have declined. Besides, most of the "anti avalon flamers" are just kids anyway.

Problem with Venus is, legits hav accomplished most of their goals. It IS the most legit server out there. I would say this is as far as we could go.
Hence, alot of legits are slowing down, they only log in once in awhile... Because there really isn't anything much left to do.

You could tell me that theres jobbing, legits can go try taking fortress, legit should war each other. Yes we could BUT, you have to register a fact that even legits don't log in that often anymore.

U mentioned that what you did with Gundam... Its good spirit. But mayb you should slow down n actually look into your guild or union. Try to spot what actually is going on. Ppl aren't active. Group those who are active together, I can assure that it wouldn't even fill a lvl 5 guild.

Yea true that menz. Both my characters stuck cuz no pegs lololol. I kinda gave up.

Of course we are paying attention to our guild. Hell its a long way before we are going to be strong enough, but its our vision, motivation if you want to call it that. I know it will take a lot of hard work and i've been doing my best to keep the guild clean and active. At times it can be difficult, people cheating and having to ban them.. but its all part of a process. Eventually all the cogs will fir together, it just takes time.

Hm. If I recall, the last time BHA attacked the fort it resulted in a good pile of bs drama.

BHA would have a hard time taking the fortress now, because the majority of them got capped and quit within a month of being capped.

Trying to take Fort only ended up with bullshit and BHA being called bot supporters.

Who says I don't? Just because my char is lvl 22 doesn't mean I can't still play. Level means nothing to me, game is just as fun at lvl 1 as it is 90.
