Yesterday i had to wait for like 2 hours to get a party working for a few mins... its soo lame.. now lots of tankers will be coming from generals, and all we got are lvl 7x wizzies that die while having fences on... its sooo sad...

I have a suggestion for Avalon, why not challenge bot guilds to a "loser leaves the server" war. You could even make it loser's union leaves. If you want to eradicate the bots that would be a great way to do it. Not many bot guilds would pass up a chance to make Avalon leave the server.

Cause whoever loses will actually leave right...?

Well, They'll either leave or their Union will disband.

@Blind, I think that's putting to much on the line. Avalon's great but if the bots take every 90 and put it into the guild Avalon will go up against, we'll have a run for our money.

Can't say much about the bot traps, but our Wings parties have turned into murder parties lately. The other night we had Val, Grace and Goob go murder on bots, to the point blasjr put a 10m bounty on Goob and Grace each and Val still went to Shaitan in murder status. Then last night, we had at one time 4 of our 8 members red grinding on wings because the same dumb botter kept coming back and I think by the time I left the party, everyone had killed him at least once (except me, please don't hate, I was 2% from leveling and it was late). We are slacking and we are losing. Joymax doing weekly bot bans is not a reason to slack off. Many of you have capped, I understand that; but we have not won this war. Not by a long run. It has only been a few days and already, there are 4x Gold bots in China. The last time I was in Samarkand, I saw a gold bot by dark wolves. Botters and former legits are mocking Avalon&Co. (legits). We are bending over and taking it up the ass.

Don't lose sight of how Venus was created, for that battle has not been won. We still have a long ways ahead of us and we need to concentrate on removing the botter menace.

Currently player bots are running their own gold bot and filling our server with their muck. Do you honestly think that Bot Traps should stop because Joymax is banning bots? When was the last time someone has done a bot trap? When was the last time one of the Bigger guilds ran a Bot Guild off the server? Where is the animosity? Do not forget where we are and what we're here to do.

So here is my suggestion:
We forget the past and move towards a better tomorrow. Together we can make this legit server a permanent reality, not just a temporary thrill.

1]Reform the alliance but ONLY for the sake of keeping botters down.
2]Daily bot traps.
3]PvP Training. Yes, training. Since this server is predominantly European (or so it seems), we must know not only how to grind, but also; how to fight. No more losing to botters, and no more barely winning wars.
4]When Botters Mock you, there are two things you can do. A]Don't respond, B]Respond. Once you respond, you must continue. If you stop halfway, then that will just be a win in the botters mind.
5]Calling botters out for PvP.
6]Making bots murder training.
7]We need some murder accounts. I suggest warlocks around 6x in NPC gear. They will be used to ruin bot plvls at ongs.

We need to make their life miserable. ALL OF US.

Well this idea of Barotix is similar to what I've been thinking. Since fly feels that BHA in general hasn't been doing it's part in the war against bots on the server, people should create alternates with the sole purpose of disrupting bot plvls and murdering bots. Every advertised plvl that is on party match should be attacked, by 1) killing off levelees or 2) killing off leveler or 3) kill stealing. All these alternates should have a sole purpose which is when they're online, all they are doing is hunting every party match bot lvl party or roaming looking for chin gold bots. Secondly, these alternates should be all in the same guild. 3rdly, half should be thieves, half should be hunters. Venus has so many admitted botters, I didn't understand why Zest would go around spying on legit parties or legit players and receive credit for it. If there's even 1 post in party match offering bot plvls, that's one too many. Obviously, it takes some coordination and team work for this plan to work and indeed, most of Avalon would claim that Avalon itself doesn't need alternates, it does this all the time. But this would be a combined guild of any legits that want to fight bots full time and being online means that you're not stalling, chatting, caping around, or making trade runs, it means you're actually fighting. Seems a bit grandiose but I'll but it out there as my constructive input and see what happens.

Prior to the weekly bot bans, we considered running constant bot traps around Jangan. Those have become somewhat unnecessary now...there just aren't that many goldbots around jangan anymore. Now there are other ways to harass botters. Organizing the methods and timing of this should be a priority.

Just wanted to point out to all those who think we are "losing the war", your wrong. Our unions grow stronger every day, and more and more guilds continue to join the cause in joining the whitelist and complying with the rules set down by the confederation.

I had a good laugh reading this post. If its anyones fault that Avalon loses the FW its your own. BHA used to come and help when we were allies. We were not shown the respect and equality we deserve from Avalon and because of that helping you defend the FW is not a high priority.
