I pretty much agree with everyone here. Asking for plevel is a big no no. If someone offers to help you out then go for it but asking for it will generally get you a big NO. However, saying things like "I could care less about low lvls" is probably not the best thing to say to the future "soldiers" of Venus. If we want the legit community to keep growing, then we need to at least show them some respect and less pompousness. Not defending this guy btw, he's already fcked himself by over reacting and disrespecting members.

Only time I have ever been plvled on this server is when either Salem or LemonKiss pmed me with a party and been like "Academy Plvl time... join it or die" (it wasn't exactly like that, but thats the idea). xD Imo - people can't pvp without learning the skills through pve. Whats the point in a game solely driven by pvp, if no one can play their characters? I can solo a lvl 46 botter as a lvl 39 warlock. (KingofNarnia can back that up... he saw it. xD) I guarantee that if I hadn't partied as much as I have, I couldn't do that.

i mean, ppl can get annoying when they keep spaming and begging, but if some1 just asks a question, is it that hard just to answer it?

why is every1 assuming that a lower lvl that is asking for a plvl wants to get plvld all his way up to lvl 90?

we all know there are not enough pt spots for all of us from time to time, we all know there are builds, that other ppl just dont even want to pt with, we all know there are not even decent parties up from time to time due to the lack of certain builds...

if we want to keep this community strong, we should stick and work together. all of us, if carebear or not, if noob or high lvl.

snubbing ppl ingame or in this forum for whatever reason over and over again will not be the solution to get us a new generation of legit players.

ppl do behave like idiots and assholes from time to time, that s just human... if they are annoying, block them, ignore them, whatsoever, but calling ppl noobs, useless and/ or facing them with excessive arrogance coz they are low lvl wont help any of us.

to me, a strong legit community isnt made of only a few harcore gamers that hold the fort , a strong legit community consist of a broad amount of hardcore and casual players of all lvls.

most of u guys started on this server together, u know each other, u ve gone a hard way lvling ur chars so far and ur still busy making ur chars stronger, i assume most of u guys love to play that game... u never should forget that there is alot of ppl coming to venus coz they feel the same, they love the game and they want to join a server, where they can enjoy the game coz of a legit community. we shoudlnt scare them away by facing them with arrogance, despite what we/ u reached so far on this server.

Because your quote makes 0% sense and doesn't really deserve a response. But since you insist, I'll break it down for you just so that you can understand:

"If" - implies a hypothetical situation
"the server was 100% legit" - everyone (or atleast majority of the players) in the server grinds by hand
"let's see how much" - how often/frequently
"you get the fortress" - win the fortress wars

In other words, you are stating that Avalon union wouldn't win the fortress wars if EVERYONE (or atleast the majority) of the server was legit.

I'll break your statement down to 2 issues--legit unity and powerleveling. The problems with your logic are:

In Terms of Legit Unity
1a) it already describes the status quo. BHA/Avalon/other legit guilds already dominate the server. There are always parties legit parties out in the open, while the remaining minority player botters out there turn on their bots in far corners of the maps out of fear.
Gold bots are an inevitable problem in all servers. So far the legits are setting out bot traps to hinder the gold bots' progress. But as far as the player bots go, the legits are dominating.

1b) Why is this working? Because BHA/Avalon decided to watch each others' backs. Your quote implies a server full of hostility among legits, which isn't the case. The legits were united by their common struggle against bots. Until bots are completely wiped out from the server, the legits will continue to work together.

1c) The fortress doesn't really mean much (atleast not to me). I'm in BHA union and I can care less about how much gold we're missing out on by not owning the fortress. Most of us legits have duties in real life and therefore cannot be bothered to wake up at 5 a.m to attend fortress wars, especially during school days. If Avalon keeps the fortress, then grats to them. As a matter of fact, in the last few fortress wars, few of the guilds in BHA hadn't even bothered to sign up.

1d) Even if Avalon union, by some freak accident, lost the fortress war to a botter union, that still wouldn't change the fact that the server is dominated by legits. While holding the fortress does indicate domination, it isn't the only criterion for showing dominance. Dominance can also be measured by how often legits win and drive out bot guilds from the server, how often legit guilds win guild wars against bot guilds, how many legit grinding parties are out there compared to powerbotting parties, how active the legit community is compared to the botter "community" (that's if Venus botters even have something like that), how often bots bitch after getting pwned by a Slave Watcher, etc. etc.

In Terms of Powerleveling
2a) what's the difference between a botter and a player being powerleveled? One turns on the bot at a desolate location of the map and babysits the bot, the other one stands in a spot and babysits his character (to run away just in case a big bad ong comes by--which doesn't really happen often if you know good ong powerleveling spots). At the end of the day, both players do nothing by themselves. The time you are wasting by being powerfarmed could be better invested by partying and gaining valuable partying experience. Which brings me to--

2b) The problem with botters and powerlevled characters is that when they reach mid/high-levels, they know nothing about how to party. You will get blacklisted by people who are serious about party-grinding if you don't know how to work as a team. Nobody likes an idiot player who drags the party down. By the time you reach Penons, everyone will expect you to know what you are doing. If you got powerleveled all the way up there, everyone will notice about your (lack of) partying skills and will refuse to party with you.

2c) Therefore, what Asy was doing you a favor by not powerleveling you. He didn't want you to be lazy and fight like an idiot (and get blacklisted by others because of your crappy partying skills) when you reach level 4X.

2d) This has been stated many times. Powerlevel is a privilege, not a right. If someone refuses to powerlevel you, then quietly leave and make a grinding party. Whining about it in a forum only makes YOU look bad. Doing idiotic things like calling Fly a "fucktard" won't exactly increase your chances of getting powerleveled in the future.

Your egocentric mindset is your main problem. You are deluding yourself by assuming that you are a crucial player in the struggle against bots, when really you can't even kill a few ongs by yourself. How many Venus fortress wars have you taken part in? How many Venus guild wars against bots have you taken part in? How often have you pked Venusian bots out there? The legit community isn't going to fall apart just because you (a guy who can't even kill ongs) didn't get powerleveled during one incident.

It seems that the only one spouting bullshit here is you.
