Hi, i started a pure str bow on venus, and sometimes are some1 from ava or bha union killing bots at gate.. Please keep in mind that not all chineses are bot..

Would you like them to shut down the bot trap as you go by or just make a note of the times you are on and be sure not to run bot traps at that time?

Its more like this:
You run out the gate and you completely avoid the bot trapper but the trapper teleports/phantoms and starts chasing you. It's like w-t-f mate. I understand everyone can't put 1 and 1 together but if the person doesn't act like a bot and they don't have a bot tag (bot union emblem) then stop chasing them.

Unless it's like this:
"I'm dumb. I'm going to run straight into the line of fire. OH NOES I DIED!"

avalon members wont ever chase you with the lighting thief. we stand in one place and kill the bots. if you run directly into the trap, its your fault. if you avoid it any someone kills you on purpose, report it either here or on the confederation and we will deal with it.

Maybe he mean at sam south? If so sorry, but if you want to enjoy that place you should either join one of the guilds/unions that signed up at the confederation site or get your guild approved there. Link to it is stickied at the top of this section.

You miss more trying to chase bots than standing in one place and let them come to you. I've never seen it done other than how Fly describes.

I think its more just sadistic people who want to kill you regardless if you bot or not, say I clearly was running away from your thief spawn, and you chased me to kill me, cuz clearly a bot cant run out of the way like that, but some people will just try to kill you anyway

Depends what guild your in. If its a legit guild, I'll move for you. (Unless I've got a constant stream, then ya just gotta go around lol). If your guildless, I won't move unless it's one of the little nubs cheering me on saying yay kill more, rofl. XD

I think I probably do the majority of the bot trapping on Venus. I do it every day for at least three hours.

I do not chase anyone. I sometimes have to move because some trader is whacking at my thief or some thief other than my NPC one is whacking at me. But I do not run around. I am not trying to kill real players. If you lay there a sec or ask me, I will immediately res you, even if you are in a bot guild. Why? Because I really think that at those levels, someone might not get the whole bot trap thing (We are probably the only server that does it regularly) or even the whole legit/bot thing. While I still wouldnt party with them, I prefer to give them at least that courtesy so that they dont start hating legits at level 2X because the person who is supposed to be helping them train (the bot trapper) is a jerkoff.

I bot trap cause I hate bots and really like noobs. If you see me there, "The_QueeN", ask me for some free pots. The silly gold bots drop SHITLOADS of them and I find it funny that gold bots could be supporting the legits they piss off by providing them with free pots.

well if you go to DW west now there are gold bots that run to their training place and goldbots that go on horse to their training place and they both take different paths so you have to move to get them sumtimes
