and although you claim its not benefiting you in any way - the caves are empty BECAUSE avalon has put up a big fight with bots; traps and all; and although parties ARE bountiful within the bha itself; you have to realize that we wouldn't be the level we are to have those parties without avalons intervention with the bots (not as fast anyway or enjoyably) - and most people join the server itself (moving from old ones) because they heard about the war we are waging with said bots

the fact that bha can stand on its own two feet now is GREAT and i applaud us
the fact that we can now help with the war on bots - awesome

but i have heard disturbing rumors that people are saying to not party with avalon at all; thats just plain stupid - which on the flipside i have heard that certain people have been banned (not kicked, i mean from joining) from avalon parties as well - that has got to stop --- i understand if you have beef with someone and dont want to party with them; ok - there is no way everyone will get along; but dont blacklist a union because of 1 person you dont like

When Cyrusis first joined Avalon he admitted to having bought gold. We said, dont worry about it, just never do it again. Later, he wanted gears and stuff and because we had known him a long time and he gave me all his gold on Xian the year before, Fly gave him a few hundred million. He donated to SRA and he bought kINGz a ticket, tho they were not directly related.

When the SOSun shield was found Cyrusis bought it for what he claimed to be 1.2 billion. That figure is high but well, fits in with what he said he bought and what we gave him at the beginning of the server. He claimed to be broke now and even borrowed gold. But then some German guys kept claiming they had proof that Asya, who was borrowing the shield, bought gold. They had screenies of the shield being bought for 3 billion gold by an alt. I kinda dismissed it cause like who would buy it for that much?

Then Corrupt finds a SOSun chest. Immediately upon hearing it, Cyrusis attempted to trade the Sun chest for 800 million and an SOS 81 chest.

I was like WTF!!!

I knew he was lying about not buying gold anymore so I PMed him and asked him. He admitted to buying 4 billion gold. 4 BILLION GOLD.

I couldnt even talk to him for a while. Kari demanded that he be kicked and I had a hard time because he was an old friend. I asked SG for advise, telling him the whole story. He agreed that kicking was the only solution.

So I was kinda sad and I went to bed. That night Cyrusis tried to sell the shield to Asya for cash. Asya shrugged, took the shield and logged off.

I forgot to add that Asya gave Cyrusis the shield back after i said he will be kicked.

After Cyrusis was kicked he gave the shield to Asya trying to get him to buy it for real money.

I don't think any1 whos not in Avalon has the right to question what happened because that was their own internal issues. We do not know what exactly happened. After Cyrusis gave Asy the shield (yeah Cyrusis was NOT in Avalon by that time) Asy went to the CTF with the shield and got DCed in there... Cyrusis started globalling bs about Asy and that Asy scammed bla bla bla... Oh, they're both on Vent... Now, if you were in Asy's place, would you have given back the shield to someone who did that to you? c'mon guys, be realistic... and destroying it won't do anything except putting a smile on the jealous ppl's faces.. Asy a strong warrior, with the shield or without it...

Yeah, but its a good and important discussion. It seems to be an argument about whether the ends justify the means. Is it okay to scam a bot or goldbuyer? I actually think keeping or rondoing the item is incidental.

In the end:

Gold prices skyrocket (good)
Legit owns Sun (good)
Nonlegit leaves server (good)
Bots/goldbuyers worried (good)
The original bot who got the drop made w/e from it (bad)

So on balance, a lot of good came from it with the only bad thing being that whoever cyrusis bought the shield from has a ton of gold now.

Also, the "friendship" issue is another matter. Whether it was right or not to scam someone you've known for a while.

You forgot the 1000+ slot influx in gold bots because the moron bought 4 billion gold and was from Venus server.


As for Drama Queen meh, take it how you want. Is it true the gentleman in question was a part of Avalon union or not? Is is true you were selling him FW gold earnings in exchange for silk? and if you think scamming is bad, get used to it. as bots find sosuns, we will take them. we will infiltrate there guilds. we will scam them blind. we will pimp our asses out in full sosuns and we will use it against them every day they stay on venus. We did it once on Xian and we will do it again here.

As for that I don't think scamming people weather legits, bots, or gold buyers is right period. Scamming people under whatever means should not be considered legit.
Making bots murder to drop their gear is by all means okay. Keep building up that way.

How exactly are you "feeding" us? Everything I have in this game is from my own hard work or from the hard work of my guild.

Now I admit we moved to Venus because of your actions. You started the movement and I appreciate the hard work put in to do that but to claim you did it all or by yourself just minimizes the work other ppl have done. We do our part. We follow the same rules you do. So you think it's ok to scam botters, w/e agree or disagree. I don't really care about that. Its a pretty stupid issue. Scamming ppl, any ppl is a personal choice. i would also like to say that i am tired of the whole "this is our server" "we made this server what it is" etc etc.

and im also very very tired of avalon members who are clearly 14 or younger calling me a noob etc because i havent fought in a fortress war etc. ive been around in the game since there were only 2 servers, I know the game well and have played for a very long time. I am clearly not a "noob"
and even if i was, your members have no right to go around thinking their demi gods calling people noobs claiming avalon is the best etc.
today kworey was being a complete dick, yelling for a res for like 10 minutes whilst we had a ptg a party champion and a bitch load of normal aprty mobs all on us, and he wouldnt stop frickin whining, then started having a go at me and generally being childish and annoying.

Like I said I care less what happens to the shield and I could care less about your tactics. Just the statement and the "perceived" attitude where you use absolutes like only and ever....it could be your just fed up with some of the comments made in this thread but belittling everyone else not in Avalon (and I assume you mean the Avalon union or you also belittle the rest of the guilds in your union with your statement) by saying you are the only ones doing your part in the bot war is ridiculus. First of all, i think saying rondo the shield is idiotic. Theres just no point in it, having the shield will simply make legits even stronger.

Second, i think, or at least hope, Fly got a single word wrong. Ofcourse Avalon have done a lot, much more than anyone else, but to think that they are the ONLY people who have done anything anything against bots is completely stupid. And if indeed BHA are thought of like that, in the eyes of Avalon members, then thanks, very nice of you.

Don't think that every one of you isn't enjoying the fruits of their labor. Not just in harassing the bots but in funding our respective guild leveling.

If you've never set up a bot trap; if you've never gone pink on bots trying to get them to retaliate; if you've never done so little as trolled Jangan to buy out noob legit stalls; then I don't think you should talk about your contribution to this server.

Forget the words and forget the absolutes and look at his point: the core group of Avalon does the dirty work and you benefit. He's right and I'm glad they do. Look I don't want anyone to think I am belittling Avalon's contribution. I am just tired of hearing about it every time someone questions their actions. I think Rondo'ing a SUN item is just as retarded as anyone else but I stand by the idea that if someone wants to discuss it and how we as a community feel about it, then they have a right to. Just because they were not here on day one there not "Real" legit, they don't have the right to question anything? Everyone not in Avalon is a second class citizen?
