Yes, but those members dont have a forum full of anti Avalon bs. They dont suggest we are shut out of parties. They dont post bot sympathetic posts about their guild. I can be forgiving of a person I have some measure of control or assurance of control over. How do I fight WITH someone who is always trying to pull the rug out from under my feet? I am constantly defending myself and the legit choices we have made against Odyssey and their weather vane legitness.

the anti-avalon sentiments are being perpetuated, not alleviated. we MUST work to make it go away. it exists on BOTH sides. i can guarantee that their forum would be full of it less if the actions of some didn't continue to bring it about. WE CANNOT HEAL THIS UNLESS ALL ARE ON BOARD.

In return, they left my Union and tried to take it with them. Witch never hid that he wanted to "take the fortress".

Fast forward.

The guilds they took from my union eventually were as loyal to Odyssey as they were to Avalon and deserted one by one. They again ask me for help. I am discussing it with Fly when they join BHA. I let it alone. I never said anything about it.

Then the party thing happens.

I have STUPIDLY offered up my support over and over. I have had nothing but backstabbing in return. I am only going to volunteer for being burned once or twice.

Just a bit of forewarning on my post I am a relative newcomer to the Venus server so I'm not well informed from past events and what's been happening in Venus before I joined aside from things that have been posted on this forum so I am bound to make some mistakes on the issue.

Correct me if I'm wrong but this issue is more of an ongoing issue and this incident, while it's been taken out of proportion, has been perpetuated by the build up of the issue which involves Oddesey's choices and actions and the conflict they have made with Avalon as well as Avalon's seemingly arrogant and controlling attitude towards this. Some people need to realize that Avalon's actions is for the interest of keeping the server as legit as possible not necessarily to inflate an ego while Avalon needs to realize that the way they're trying to solve the problems within the legit group is causing problems because of the "with us or against us" mode of arguing rather than talking out the problems. If I'm mistaken on any of that feel free to mention so. IMO both sides need to find the common ground, resolve and get past the conflicts of interest that have come up and truly stand united against the common foe.

The real battle should be against the botters not against each other. My theory is the 90 cap is giving the bot guilds hope that they can get a level advantage and take the fortress as well as win in other game aspects. We should be doing whatever we can to deny them any chance of winning and crush any hope they have of doing well on this server. I'm sure I'm not the only one who came to Venus because they were absolutely disgusted with the situation of their older server and wanted a server where it was the botters who were the weaker group and where those who played by the rules were the dominant force. These bots should not be allowed to succeed in any way, shape, or form possible and we should be taking every step possible to get them out of the server or to keep them at a point where they are powerless in the great scheme of things. As SG stated we need to all be on board and agree on the action necessary to keep this server a beacon for legits. We could either keep up and finish the great work that's being done in the server, or let the time and effort invested in getting Venus to what it is go to waste.

Anyways.....*finds screen shots of every other servers generals grinding area* Course I got none but I could assume from the few I've seen there's at least 3 mixed Euro chinese pts KSing the shit out of each other.

Venus....one party with random 80 wiz w/ friends basically 2 parties ksing each other. What sounds better 3 mob spawns getting gang banged by 30 people or 20 mobs getting killed by a party and some random wizard.

Looks bad cause there's been no "problems" coming up. The more people reach cap, more crowded the areas get, even if he's there just to KS it's not as bad as what's going on in 20 other servers. Ignore, grind, exp is exp, and if he pisses you off so much that you have to get full exp....Then move to snipers and figure out how to lure tons of them.
