Quick avatar resize
Could someone be so kind as to resize this picture so it's less than 10KB so I can use it as an avatar? Thanks very much

Shouldn't this pic have bigger dimensions? Shouldn't it be a link to the big pic on ImageShack?
If i save this pic here, it shows 7,28 KB.

Re: Quick avatar resize
The problem isn't in the size of the image, i guess that the problem is that it is too wide, only needs a tiny resize fix.
Just open paint or something, put the dimensions 125 pixels * 125 pixels (width*height) and then you can use the photo as an avatar.

It seems to me that the problem is the size.

Re: Quick avatar resize
I know what Puma60 said but that isn't the problem.
Just make the picture 125 pixels * 125 pixels or less and it will work.
The image i am currently using as Avatar is ~ 146 k.b., so believe me when i tell you it isn't the size ^_^
You won't lose anything if you try anyway.

Re: Quick avatar resize
Oh, i didn't think about the avatar requirements here.
Anyways, in Paint when you change the dimensions by pixels, it won't resize, but crop the image. The eye fits rather thightly in the image so cropping will not give the best outcome. PS is better for that, Canvas Size crops the image, but Image Size will resize it.

Re: Quick avatar resize
Actually even paint can resize it (atleast on windows7) but whatever, i just said paint because all the computers have it and it is rather simple to use.
The problem is that i can't get the hold of a computer for a few more days, so it is better that someone else does it to save time.

Re: Quick avatar resize
This is for another forum btw, so the requirements might be different to this forum. Here are the requirements;
- No wider than 80 pixels
- No taller than 100 pixels
- File size smaller than 10 Kb

Thank you very much
Edit: Is there any way to get rid of those numbers at the bottom of the pic?

Re: Quick avatar resize
Well the easiest way would be to cut that part with the number from the picture at the original post then re-size it again, but it won't look so good without that part, it looks better now imo

Re: Quick avatar resize
It could also be taken off from there but i don't know how real it would look. Well, it is small anyway so it shouldn't be bad when just removing the text.

Re: Quick avatar resize
another quick solution would've been to take a ss and then just cut everything out but the image itself.
