Short Cut to open The Starting SRO Screen!

If you get disconnected very often from the second animated screen where u see the login window with User and login.
This tutorial will help you to one hit connect to the SRO main start up screen.
What this tutorial does not do is auto-reconnect or anything of this short. Its just that i find it annoying to
double click the Silkroad icon to open the main screen.

STEP 1:- Right click on the SRO Icon.
Image

STEP 2:- Select properties option , by left clicking it.
Image

STEP 3:- If every thing is done right you should see this option windows saying Silkroad Properties.
Image

STEP 4:- Select the " Shortcut key: " option by left clicking on the adjacent (The left empty box which should say "None" if u havent clicked it already.
Image

STEP 5:- If you pressed "W" key on keyboard your of shortcut keys should look like this STEP.5 image.I use "- " or "+" key on the Number pad located on the extreme right of keyboard(Keeping in mind that you are using a normal and simple keyboard.).
Image

STEP 6:- If you have press "+" Key on Numpad after left clicking in the box Shortcut Key, your option box
should look like STEP6. image.
NOTE MOST IMPORTANT PART DONT FORGET TO HIT APPLY BUTTON.

Image

If you selected any key like for e.g: "A TO Z" you will have to press control key , alt key and "the key you

selected". In this case "ctrl+alt+W".
Note: All the keys have to be press at same time in sequence like this:
Ctrl(then in next second )alt key(in next second)w KEY.
Thats why i prefer "+" Numpad button coz its only one hit key.

NOTE:This also works for any Shortcut.

thank ya!! IF it helps.
Other neeto trick i do is very funny.
after typing your Password and login name in SRO animated user screen.
I usually Put my mouse on the num pad Enter key , Which presses it down and keeps on trying to log in if disconnected u get popped out. :D

annoying to doubleclick the icon?

~lol~

Anyway, so every time you now press the "+" button, Silkroad starts up, hardly seems like a good idea, does it now?:/

Well it is useless IF U LOVE TO CLICKY all the time!! Pro Users* Not me :D usually use shortcuts. For e.g: Many people in sro still dont know that there are 4 slots of Keys(F1 TO F4) , which can be used to arrange everything for quick key use.

Image

Using F1 TO F4 its so easy i usally keep everything organised for different conditions

Now u might know someone might not!!
Doesnt make it useless. :)

The F1/F4 seems only to work best, for higher level characters i think...

Unless you want to put a level 1 imbue on slot 1,then press F2 and put the fire imbue on slot 2. :P

A more appropriate shortcut is the numpad * bcus its most likely not used seeing as shift 8 is also an * the + is kinda needed :p
