Ignore feature

Most massive online roleplaying games include an ignore, and an unignore feature. I would appreciate it if someone would tell me;
A: Does SRO have an ignore/unignore feature and if not, why not?
B: How do I use the feature
C: Is there a way to ignore regular chat and only listen to friend chat?
Thanks in advance,
Calmwind

A. There is no “official” ignore command.
B. -
C. If you get all of your friends into the same party you can put your chat box onto party, which ignores all regular text.
Thank you

Well, I guess your program games for Western companies that release mainly in America and such. This is a Korean game, eastern games are made much differently and most of them do not have an ignore feature.
You're correct

Im from the USA. But how do they keep players from harrassing eachother. The logic is simple..
They have swear word filters.. so why allow harrassment?
And yes you can harrass without swearing.

I hope this doesnt offend you but that strategy goes against my value system. I maintain that they need an ignore feature.
However I surely appreciate the time you took to reply and all opinions are welcome.
Sincerely,

sadly there is no ignore feature , however if you're in a guild and you have the Guild tab selected you will only be able to read guild chat so you filter out the PM's.
Another option is to go to options and somewhere there will be an option to disable Privates Messages , people select this to get the full 3 hrs out of their double experience, so they wont be tempted to go chatting ...

you saying about the -block whispers- setting made me think of a question I had..
I set it to block whispers when I am grinding and I was wondering if anyone knew what the whisperer recieved when he tried to whisper you. Does it come back as "cannot find assface" like it does when you whisper an offline person or does it make it seem like the whispers are going through and you're just too good to answer the person at the moment?
Thanks

Cannot find username means that the player is offline or the nick doesn't exist
