How to separate stacked items.

I found that there arent any explanations of this that I can find, and if there are, they arent easy to find. So after experimenting a bit I found out how and Id like to share my findings with the new players out there (and the old ones if you still dont know).


At first glance in SRO it seems stacked items cannot be separated, for example if I have a stack of 20 return scrolls and I wish to give someone just 1.

The answer is quite simple but not very obvious at all. While HOLDING shift click the stack that you wish to separate. A dialogue will appear asking you how many you wish to separate into another stack.

So lets take my return scroll stack for example. If I wanted to separate the 20 stack into 2 stacks of 10; I would HOLD shift and click the 20 stack, a dialogue appears and I would enter 10. Voila, I now have 2 stacks of 10 return scrolls.

The same technique applies to anything stacked. Potions, arrows, autopills, transports etc.

I hope this helps some newcomers out there.

Thank you for posting this. When I had started the game I did not learn this for quite some time. I even looked though all of the help documentation, even though it was probably hidden somewhere in the back.

Actually I spent nearly 5 hours trying to find it.. I dont believe it is on this forum although I could be mistaken.. Thats why they need to make this a sticky.
