Im lvl 31 and im wondering which one should I train on to get to lvl 32?

When I fight Earth Taoist I get burnt, so would the hyeongcheon be better?

the hyeongcheon are very slow but theres no quests for them soo its up to you

I would say hyeongcheons would be better.

I basically skipped the earth taoist quest and did lvl 29-32 with hyeongcheons. Plus, hyeongcheons are slow so if your a nuker or bow character, you won't get hit.

This depends on your build. If your INT based go to the Taoists, if you are STR then go to the headless ghosts. Doing this will reduce the damage you take and thus saving HP pots. You will also be able to kill faster.

I have the same build as you. I would say earth taoist. Why? They carry quest item and the reward is sweet. The only thing you need to do is to wear garmet instead of armor.

Headless ghost = hyeongcheons

black scorps, they're situated slighty to the right of dead ravine. no need for pills and as a pure str glavie they hit rather low and you can take them in 2/3hits

stay with taoists, they should be a fast kill with Soul spear+ ghost spear, or chain + ghost spear

Hyeongcheon has more Hp than Earth taoist but they are slower. The difference of Hp is about 300. Your choice. Glavies and Bows should fight Hyeongcheon and blades+ INT builds earth taoists http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=23381

I would say Earth Taoists...

Like many other glaive users, you're burnt, shocked, frozen, etc. easier.

So, I suggest you wear garments, and go for Earth Taoists.

But if you don't want to change to garments... I suggest... Blood Ongs. Sure they're lvl 33, but i'm pretty much the same build as you, and these things were eaaaaasy. They're just up the top of Dead Ravine. Plus, they're passive. So if you're panicking, they won't attack.

If ur garment go for Taoists.
If ur armour / protector go for Headless Monsters

Or

Go for the black scorps or blood ongs ... they can b found on the top right side of te dead ravine... on te way to Black Robbers and Archers..
Get some1 from ur guild higher lvl to take u down there so tat u dont die.. b4 u reach thm.. ideally u shldnt

Hm, Well You Could Always Get Universal Pills And Garms And Head Out For The Earth Taoist Quest. Or You Could Stick With What You Chose And Fight Hyeongcheon =]

yeah there is... the revenge quest, where u kill 30 of them. Then the liquor quest, and the broken paddle quest

depends what u want.

toist = give u good elements to sell

headless dude = easy to kill, lots of mobs to kill.

I would go headless dude
if u are in a hurry to lvl up kil headless dudes, find the area with horses also (horse give alsome wind 4)...so u can make good element to sell and lvl fast same time

Hyeongcheons. No status, hit less, don't get mobbed insanely like Taoists.

u should probably go scorpians/ongs/or flower! taoist area is too crazy with all those lil ghosts and its annoying. im lvl 30 now and ive been doing flower and scorpians. flowers are lvl 33 i beleive but only has like 1800 hp which is less than scorpians

what's ur mastery lvl? are u pure str?

i have a 6 lvl gap right now and i can't do good dmg to even the headless stone guys. takes chain+soul+ghost+soul (imbue all the way) to kill one.

i killed headless stones at lvl 25 as a pure INT. thats how i leveled to 28 cuz my castle shield series helped A LOT (its only lvl 2). from 28 i went to gunpowders because i noticed they do 2 damage to me for some reason while i wear protectors, and eventually i actually gain hp while fighting them lol.

after gunpowders i went to taoists at 29 going into 30 and i realized if youre gonna wear garments you get destroyed by earth ghosts there, and if you wear armor you get destroyed by the earth taoists. I personally wouldnt go into the ravine if it wasnt for the taoist quests, i hate that place and the burns are annoying- even though taoists only did 20 damage per hit to me, all the mobs in there are aggressive

you should try the blood ongs scorpions or flowers, theyre real easy.

If you have quests hanging, finish them. And if you don't fight mobs at least your same level like black scorpions or one or two levels higher. doing lower level mobs is a realy waste of time.. I am pure int and at level 27 I am doing scorpoins (lvl 32) so I guess u should be able to do them your self.

ps. since im pure int and my hp is comparatively low when I'm doing scorps i raise my auto hp to 80%
