Guide for Merchant/Hunter/Thief?

Is there a guide for the 3 jobs?
I reached lvl 20 and still don't fully understand
was wondering if anyone knows what the link to the guide is, i tried the search but cant find any =/
i was wondering IF i was a euro merchant, do i get to climb down the transport and fight thieves? cuz when u get off a horse it disappears... and also is it worth the time to merchant at lvl 20? and where do i go/what do i buy-sell?
basically im dunno anything about it and cant find any guides ^^ please enlighten me
