Attack Rating....what is it ? and guide question?

Post by Artimess »

Some one on the forum said that attack rating was attack speed at least thats what i rember them saying it was but i wish to make sure???

Also i am thinking of makeing a guide for how much u can carry and still be at one star for each lvl. I had to deal with loseing a bit of money (not more then i made but still) trying to figure it out for each lvl. Has any one already made such a guide ..if so can u lead me to it,and if not i guess i am makeing it? Any data u can give would be great just drop a post here and then i will give u my e-mail.
...How was i suppose to figure out that wacking people with my glaive would make them mad?

My belief is that attack rating is the speed in which your character attacks with his or her weapon. I've not been able to confirm this however.

As for trade goods, I havn't seen such a guide myself, but it wouldn't suprise me if one existed somewhere. :)

Good luck with it. I can give you a small piece of information for 1 star trades:

(this is with the 1mil Trader suit, 'Red Flag')

Lv37 with Bactrian Camel at lv2 Trader holds 94 Blue Celadon/Saddles/Crystals and 1 Red Silk/Leather/Agate.

Lv38 with Bactrian Camel at lv2 Trader holds 96 Blue Celadon/Saddles/Crystals and 1 Red Silk/Leather/Agate.

Lv39 with Bactrian Camel at lv3 Trader holds 98 Blue Celadon/Saddles/Crystals and 1 Red Silk/Leather/Agate.

I think there is a pattern. :) And Trader level doesn't seem to matter, contrary to my former belief.

nope. attack rating determines your attack dmg in a way. Say your dmg range is between 50 to 60. If your attack rating is low, you will have dmgs near the 50, while if you have high attack rating, you will have dmg closer to 60.

Attack Rating and Parry are opposites

the only thing i have to add is that hit rating and attack rating are the same things. In the game they use both terms.
Same goes with dodge rating and parry rating.

Well im pretty sure attack rating is based on how fast you can damage an enemy. Since a high level glavie has a higher atk rating then a low level sword but a low level sword attacks faster so why does the high level glavies has a higher attack rating. This is more of an oppinion though.

Parry is your weapon's ability to make your opponent do damage on the lower side of their attack power. Attack rating is your weapon's ability to do damage on the higher side of your attack power. Say your opponent's attack power is 115-135, their parry is at 55, attack rating at 70. Your attack power is 115-135, you parry is 75, and your attack rating is 85. Your opponent, with his parry being lower than your attack rating, will cause you to do dmg thats closer to 135. However, your parry being higher than his attack rating will cause him to do damage that is close to 115
