First -do NOT SP farm at lv16.
i.e. it was a good idea, but an OLD guide still used as the best ... now its retired !! (It was usefull when player and skill cap was at lv60 ~April 2006.)

Now when the skill cap will be raised to lv80 in July 2007 -follow my guide:
#1 Use Bow untill lv14, then move to use Glavie / Spear untill lv32 (if you get a good weapon +4+5 or SoS -of course use it !! )
#2 You use gap in the beginning and ONLY level up Mastery when a useful skill is available. i.e. dont upgrade untill lv5 to get the first Bow weapon skill and imbue skill.... ( I recommend COLD as imbue untill later).
#2.1 at lv7 get the combo skill for Bow.
#2.2 at lv12 get the Grass Walk skill. Upgrade Fire to gain the Flame body-wisdom and also upgrade Must-Piercing Force. (Everyone should get Piercing force -gives higher Crits for STR chars)
#2.3 at lv14 change to Glavie (as you still is strongest with STR weapon even going pure INT) AND upgrade the Dancing Demon to lv1 and Soul Spear to lv1. As INT -you can upgrade Heuksal passive skill to get HP. Also upgrade Must-Piercing Force. (To keep in mind is that you have Bow at lv7 with 2 skills = 9 levels to de-level with 90 Cursed Hearts).
#2.4 at lv19 upgrade Heuksal to get lv1 Ghost spear-Petal. Also upgrade Grass Walk, Must-Piercing Force. If you are INT -switch to Spear at lv18.
#3 At lv19 its going slower to level up. Quests are really usefull. Keep a 2 lv gap untill lv21.
#3.1 at lv21 -get a good 21+3 weapon.
Its a really good idea to do all quests at lv 20-30. You gain EXP from quests and building up a 4 lv gap for INT and 5 lv gap for STR -from now on. i.e when you level up and have more than 4 or 5 lv gap -you upgrade the skills -dont wait untill becomming lv30, as you need them.

#4 At lv30 and lv31 (STR) you have enough SP to become fully farmed.
(INT -require 9k SP at lv30 farmed good (Cold shield & with passive, Lightning all, Fire all, except Fire wall) with all 3 nuke skills, Heuksal still at lv19. And STR get their strong skills at lv31 need 12k - 13k SP)

#5 At lv32 -you get a good 32+3 weapon and level up with 0 lv gap. Do Quests as they give you good scrolls and EXP / SP.
#6 at lv 35 -get 35+3 weapon and STOP upgrading your top Mastery. From now on we build up a 8 lv gap to have time with ALL quests untill you become lv43.
#7 at lv38 -you get a good 38+3 weapon and now you have 3 lv gap. Continue doing all quests.
#8 at lv42 -you get a good 42+3 weapon AND you must complete the Robber Archer quest. Otherwise they be "blue" at lv43.
#9 at lv43 you must complete the Robber Bowmen quest. Otherwise they be "blue" at lv44.
#10 at lv44 upgrade your top Mastery to lv36 and level up on Maongs. (With 8 level gap you still see that your levling up as with 9 lv gap it takes forever.)
#11 at lv45 -you get a good 45+3 weapon -Now its time to become Fully farmed again. Before doing so, get info regarding which skills is best for your build, i.e. dont waste skills upon combos or are they worth SP? Chat with guild, read Forums, watch youtube etc.
#11.2 Get the Bonwang quest and build up a 2 lv gap.
#12 At lv 48 -you get a good 48+3 weapon. Upgrade skills most usefull for your build -you wont have enough SP from now on so you NEED to know what to upgrade. (i.e INT upgrade Nuke skills -STR upgrade Weapon skills.)
#13 At lv52 -you get a good 52+3 weapon -continue upgrading only usefull skills.

There are 2 ways from here ...
Way #1 -Gather around 200k SP (1 down side is that you wont get any 8 Degree drops untill you are lv67)
Way1 #14 at lv56 -you get a good 56+3 weapon. STOP upgrading your top Mastery -Now its time to SP farm ... again.
Way1 #15 at lv 60 -you get a good 60+3 weapon. If you havent gone up to Yeti / Devil Yeti, NOW is the time. You should now have a 4 lv gap.
Way1 #16 at lv64 -you get a good 64+3 weapon. Go to Shakram and Edimmu. Now you have 8 lv gap. Going for 9 lv gap at lv65 !!
Way1 #17 at lv 67 you move on to the CAVE. Fight Earth Ghost Warrior (lv65)and Earth Ghost Soldier (lv66) -still with 9 level gap.
Way1 #18 at lv68 -you get a good 68+3 weapon and continue fighting Earth Ghost Warrior/ Soldier -still with 9 level gap.
Way1 #19 at lv70 you should have enough SP, about 200k SP. Takes about 2+ months from lv56. Upgrade all skills and become fully farmed.
Way1 #20 To level up your Mastery from lv70 to lv80 -you need ~20k just to upgrade 1 Mastery. At lv 70 with 0 lv gap you get 4820 SP till lv71. Use all SP gathered from now on to level up 3 Masteries per level and the skills from your SP farming bank.
Way1 #21 IF you run out of SP, consider getting a 1 or 2 level gap before lv80 !!

Way #2 gather around 60k SP (Delay the final SP farming to become completely fully farmed at lv80)
Way2 #14 at lv56 -you get a good 56+3 weapon. STOP upgrading your top Mastery -Now its time to SP farm ... again.
Way2 #15 at lv 60 -you get a good 60+3 weapon. If you havent gone up to Yeti / Devil Yeti, NOW is the time. You should now have a 4 lv gap.
Way2 #16 at lv63 Go to Shakram and Edimmu -IF you havent already gone there.
Way2 #17 at lv64 -you get a good 64+3 weapon. Upgrade your skills to become fully farmed and continue with 0 lv gap!!
Way2 #18 at lv64 -Enter the CAVE to do quests.
Way2 #19 at lv68 -you get a good 68+3 weapon. Still with 0 lv gap and you upgrade only usefull skills. Quests, quests ...
Way2 #20 at lv69 -you upgrade only 1 MASTERY from now on ( to use Cursed Hearts to buy it back at lv78, de-levling it back to lv69.)
Way2 #21 at lv 72 -you get the best 72+x with highest crit and stats weapon you find. Keep levling up just the same 1 Mastery to have 0 lv gap. Kill Niya Guard, Bone Soldier, Niya Sniper OR Niya Hunter.
Way2 #22 at lv78 -you buy back (with Cursed Hearts) to gain a 9 lv gap. Finally gather all SP needed to become fully farmed all the way up to lv80 + 99.99%

With this guide -you gain speed and SP + you will see more of the game. You become fully farmed 2 (or 3) times before final SP farm is needed. You gather enough GOLD from picking up and selling drops. (Only keep good items for STALL -sell the rest to NPC.) Save every ELIXIR drop in your own storage -as you need them from lv42 and up -yourself. I upgraded all my clothes / Jewelries to +2 -all the time.
Tip: Earth4, Earth6, Water6, Fire6, Wind2 and Wind4 -is needed at high level. Gather elements and sell for 1k or 2k each -and you have LOTS of gold.

Good guide, but I rather stick with my trusty blade and farm at level 16 with a level 16 bow (sos) +4 >.>;

-Tell someone new to this game:
With the old guide: You play 5 hours and then you have to stay at the same spot for 2 months and kill the same monster .. over and over AGAIN.
OR
Use my guide and ppl can enjoy this game at the MOST !!
You can have different goals; becomming lv21, lv30, lv45, lv72 -and still be able to do jobs, PVP, levling up and SP farm.

The truth doesnt have to be old (SP farm at lv16), it will always change and become better (enjoying more of the whole game).

Wait a minute, first of all so what if I decide to farm on the same monsters over and over again. I do what I wish. Second I'm not going to waste my time following your guide and having to spend about 300k+ on deleveling the skills I don't need. Noone talks about time spent to achieve all this described in guides.
To become lv30 -takes about 1 week (3, 4 hours playing each day.)
To go from lv30 to lv45 -takes about 3 weeks. 4 weeks with SP farm (4 hours plauing per day)
To go from lv45 to lv64 -takes about 4 weeks. 6 weeks -with SP farming till lv64.
Lv64 to lv68 goes fairly quick -2, 3 weeks.
Lv68 to lv72 -takes about 1 - ~1.5 months.
lv72 and beyond -you play as you like ... noone knows the time needed for you, its really individual.

the thing is you can farm whenewer you want.

for me the best is lvl 42, lvl 52 and 72..

first of all better drops (items, money, elements, tabs) than on lvl 16 (and 90% of players got their sos drop on bunwangs).

second lvl 42 bunwangs, lvl 52 penons (same spawn time and mob concentration like in bandit stronghold).

and third you dont have to dlv skills and gap (plan in advance).

and this is the truth - when you farm on lvl 42 and lvl 52 you can play the game (at lvl 16 you cant go to trade, not to mention other things)..

and you have to be psycho to play 2 months on same spot, watching noobs begging for gold, or yeling ress all the time just to make some solid ground for future playing..

i want to be strong and have good skills but dude i want to play the game (as much as i can) in the meantime..

I like your idea -still play the game and also people would spread out more and kill the monsters they thinks is better or easier.

My experience is that its really easy to gain SP needed to become fully farmed at lv30/ 31 and at lv45. Furthermore you wanna have the skills at lv63/ 64 as then they still are cheap and you can start using the Third or Fourth book of 1 skill.
And using Cursed hearts -for Bow and maybe Heuksal, doesnt need much time OR gold -to low levels to delete. (You havent played the game untill you tried every aspect -and Cursed hearts are 1 aspect ...)

As for your guide its too specfic, a guide allows for room of movement, yours seems like a set of rules. Everyone plays different, not everyone can make gold to afford good weapons. Farming at higher lvls allows players a chance to do the jobs, and explore sros vast lands. As for farming at lvl 16 being outdated, it works very well for alot of people, and will continue to work for others, its just not for everyone.

waste of money if you use a bow. arrows or the main thing.
stick with your starting and trust me it's much faster than this guide
i'm a lvl 45 in a week with my spear ad trusty nukes no gold time used
trust me much faster

Second of all you do what you want to do with farming, but this thread is called complete guide for sp farming (ant this is not official guide but 1 players guide).
So you can listen and try his way, you can try and find your way, or you can stick to other peoples guides.
next you can debate on parts of this guide, and make it better with arguments..

but what all ya doing is just flaming. you all have like 20 posts and only thing you can say is BS.. show me your thoughts, show me some arguments, some evidences..
