Ok peoples, i know there is people on this forum that do use the guides and
tutorials sticky a lot. not only to find the info on questions that need to be
answered, but also on finding the right guides to link people to (that are
normally either too lazy or new on this forum )

i see that there are at least 2 or 3 new guides written every week. off course
not every guide is sticky-worthy and some guides are simple copies or shortened
versions of existing guides, but still i see our guides n tuts sticky growing.
To keep the size down, i would like to experiment a bit. By this i mean making
a different post with links for every single chapter in the guides n tuts section.
At this moment, we already do that for characters and skills.

I think that this might help not only cleaning the big sticky up, but also to find
the right guides for you wouldnt have to scroll that much anymore

Just like to hear some opinions and/or other suggestions before i try this out

I, personally, think it's a great idea. Would easily solve the big sticky problem and eliminate the repetitive strain injury occuring in my scrolling index finger.

well its not that much of work. i just need about 15 new posts and copy paste
the links in the sticky chapters in those new posts. then i post links to those
new posts in the sticky instead oO

well..
every new guide will be linked in the proper section of the sticky yes. so if
its a pk2 edit guide, it will go to Sticky -> Pk2 edit, and will be linked in the
post with pk2 editing guides.

and i know i dont NEED your approval, but you guys use the guides n tuts
more than i do, so it needs to fit you guys, not me.

Well, what I mean is, sometimes, we see useless Guides - and you know I'm not meaning to flame any of the people who made the Guides, Cin, but I think you know what I'm talking about. Just Guides that have people who typ l1k d1s homie-g u kno wut i mean? They're unorganized, cluttered, hard to read and understand, and to top it all off, are pretty much common sense.
Just wondering if those kinds of Guides would go in the Stickies? Or would it be what would normally go in the current Stickies, just divided into the new subdivisions?

And of course, we might use this more than you, but whatever you think would be the best thing to do for us. After all, you're a Mod, and sometimes, you just gotta go with what you think. If YOU think that this would be a good decision, I think you should just go for it - after all, isn't that a little bit of the reason why you were even chosen to be a Mod in the first place? You showed that you were responsible, and could be trusted to make good decision on BEHALF of the rest of the Forum.

Well, for all the Legend I update guides.. make a sticky for all of those links?
And for Characters and Skills, put all those guides together.
Money and Jobbing guides sticky

Narrow it down to little categories and post relevant links to the certain guides, possibly?

i made one of the stickies to Euro guides n tuts already.. im not completely
sure what the rest of Legend I is, but i can change the sticky's name when
there are more guides of that subject

Have you considered putting the name of the author after the Guide?

As in Guild Guide by _wolf_, instead of just Guild Guide?
