Introduction:

Studies show that 6 in 7 people are bots. Bots take space on server and level people's characters without any real work being done. This creates some animosity between regular players and botters. If you want to express your hatred for bots, this 6 step program is the one for you!

I was able to stand next to 6 of these people while under murderer status before one of the people in the last picture, who was not a bot, killed me. It just goes to show you how many characters you see really are bots. Using metthod 1 I was able to gain 14% exp, and find an SoS.

Method 1

1) Find a nice secluded spot with a good spawn rate so you can burn off your Murderer Points. Also it is a good idea to buy plenty of potions as you will not want to go towards town with murderer on.





2) Buy Gear

I recommend that you buy some gear from an NPC so that you are able to survive slightly better, and do not lose anything valuable.

3) Find a Bot

Next we are going to find someone to kill. Now, since we are supposedly learning how to kill bots it is common courtesy to
make sure you are not killing a real person.

4) Kill Your Target

This should not be a problem, most bots that I have encountered are fairly easy to kill.

5) Run Like Hell

Assuming that you your exp loss, this is the time to make your escape. If this is true in your case, now is when you dash to your grinding spot. In many cases this is not a problem because 5 of every 6 people around you are probably bots.

6) Grind On Monsters

In order to prevent the loss of experience, you will have to grind on monsters for a while. I chose this area because there are few people and it has a nice spawn rate. I was losing about 11 Murder Points for killing white mobs and about 3 for killing green mobs.

Killing someone gets you 1,200 Murder Points so you will have to kill anywhere from 120 to 400 mobs.

Tips for staying alive:

Stay away from the road. Actual people and traders tend to use roads.




Keep a full Berserker bar. You can use this to run away and also intimidate people.



You can see people before they can see your name, especially if you zoom out on your radar.



7) Repeat 1 - 6 as necessary



Method 2

Method 2 is much more efficient and safe than Method 1. Using Method 2 you can kill everyone bot in the area without worrying about any murder penalty.

This requires:

A transport
A trader suit
Lots of potions


1) Summon your transport and put 1 of any special good into it.




2)Bring Plenty of potions for you and your horse. Since there is no risk of losing your gear you can wear your normal stuff.



3) Find your target.

4) It is good manners to make sure said target is actually a bot.



5)** Wait near target until a lightning thief spawns on your transport.

It is a good idea to kill all other types of thieves so you transport does not die, and you are not overwhelmed by thieves.

6) Get the thief to target you

Get the lightning thief to target you by either attacking it and moving close to it

7) Kill your target

Move as close to the target bot as you can so that the lightning will splash and kill it. This step might be difficult depending on how many levels higher you are than your target.

8) Repeat 1-7 as necessary.


**An alternative is to move away and terminate your transport so that the thief targets the bot. However, this can be very dangerous as thief players can then attack you.

Have fun and kill a lot of bots!

Lol, i have a comment on the guide and on the purpose of the guide.

The guide wasn't really necessary since most people know you can murder a bot with ALT+SKILL. What people want is a guide that shows how to murder bots without being a murderer.

Tho i have to say it's a nice guide, easy, and i mean very easy to understand:)

Well if you are able to find a good grinding spot, you won't lose any exp. So far that spot I show on the map has worked for me. Only like 3 people passed by, all on horses, and none bothered to stop and kill me.

Silly guide.. Go grind instead of killing bots they will run back to the same place and start grinding again and they dont take less space because of you being dumb and killing them. -.-

This is a guide for people who want to kill bots. I enjoy killing bots, even though it is pointless it is fun. If you do not want to kill bots, this is not the guide for you.

This information must be kept secret lol, or bot killers wont be able to do it anymore as bot creators will patch it

Lol, funny when u said stay away from the road because real players use them and I think that is actually true lol. A lot of bots use like the edges and stuff which is why they get stuck sometimes.

And as for the lightning thief, they rarely spawn anymore. I did that last night for 2 hours I did a five star trade and waited for lightning bow thief and never spawed

I know a way to DC bots with no problem... Maybe a few mana potions gone but... Yea... Sadly you wont get any items from DCing the bot

Ok so, You might need a friend if you're going to DC bots fighting mobs around the same level as you. It's best if you (Or the KSer as I like to call it) are an archer and you're buddy and nuker.

What you do is, select a bot to DC.

Once the bot goes for a mob shoot at the mob first, most bots will just walk away. If the bot Doesn't walk away, choose another one -_-

Get the nuker to finish off the mob and follow the bot.

The bot has probably chosen another mob to attack. Head for that and KS.
Repeat this and about 20 or 30 mobs later the bot will be DCed.

The bot might come back in an hour or a half.

What I did was, I made a huge party and we all got paired up. One nuker and one Archer (Sometimes 2 nukers) and we went off on a huge bot DCing trip.... it was fun.... hehehe.

In total we only got 34 bots...

This guide is fairly useful, good work.

Even though half the methods are dangerous, and a waste of money.

But it's good to know you did...something at that least.
