Well what I would recomend for you to start is...
A bow. Although your arrows will run out, you can eaisly buy seom at the weapon smith in Jangan.
A bow is great especially for people who are pure str until lvl 10 becuase monsters wont hit you and the masteries use very low amount of MP.
You should also consider SP farming. In order to do this, you highest force level must be at least 3 below your lvl. You will get loads more SP (Skill Points) doing this!
Get defence masteries, not only your wepoan or force ones. They usually last abouit 4 mins and will do good in long battles or short ones! You can also lvl them up making them more efficeint.
Pick up everything you got. It may have alchemy things on it but don't worry. Sell it to either Herbalists, Protector shop or weapon smith in Jangan for quite a decent price! Smart if you want gold.
Don't sell your things to the shop if its things like armour with blue on it. Sell it in your own store for double what the NPC is buying for. Maybe some person might want what you call 'junk'
BUY POTS at the herbalist and put it in your quick slot. Even 20 at a time would be great. You may be losing gold but you will get it back by the monsters you kill, quests and items the monsters drop. Also when lvl 10 keep a horse in handy. Buy 4 at a time so you dont have to die to get back to Jangan. You also lose EXP when you die.
QUESTS FIRST! Whats the point sof killing monsters when you have a quest on. Doing quests will give you extra SP, EXP and gold and maybe bonus things like scrolls. Also some quests involves killing monsters which monsters will drop extra gold for you and otehr handy things.
If your bored wear a scarfe and kill someone who has a scarfe on. You get to show off your moves and not lose EXP!!! People are usually pking people at South Gate in Jangan, but you'll die. Believe me lol.
So this is my 1st guide, hope you like it.. Done in less than 5 mins, stuff from top of ma head lmfao.

but you could get a better layout of the skills needed and the pure str/hybrid str etc.
