[Guide] for lvl 1-80 : be 80, fullyfarmed and rich

YOUR PESONNALITY
Your leveling speed depends on your personnality :
if you grind 3 hours per day, you will be fine. if you grind less than 3 hours per day it will be a bit longer but you can do it !
if you NEVER chat, job and if you are able to buy silks, you are someone who will be 80 faster than anyone else. is it really possible to be like that ? hardly. but try to be like that as much as possible
GOALS LEVELING => SP FARMING => MAKING MONEY => FINISH LEVELING
if you really want to be lvl 80 quickly with a good amount of gold, you must/should follow those rules as much as possible :
- be at 0 gap as much as possible until lvl 64. if you are pur or almost pur str, use your sps in your weapon mastery ( glavie : ghost/flyingdragon/soulspear/chains, blade : chains & sword petal and the other ranged skill, bow devil arrow, and the skill with critical increase ) and in light ( only for grasswalk ) if you have extra sps use them in fire imbue or fire passive or the buff which add phy dmg. your weapon mastery must be lvl 55 when you are lvl 64, so u can go to with 0 gap to 64 and buy skill reloc or just up the weapon mastery to 55 and leave it here.
if you are int or almost pur int, use your sps in light and fire. ( grasswalk, must pierce force, nukes, fire imbue only ) use your sps in weapon mastery at least till lvl 30 too because there aren't nukes before this lvl except lion shoot<.<) then get fire and/or light lvl 55 when you are lvl 64
when you gain your Sp, use them in this order. level whathever increase your dmg and Grasswalk. then start leveling cold, concentration, fanningspear, castle shield, fire prot or skills like that which help you to survive later in pvp. when you are done farming, your mastery lvl should be around 280/300, then you go to level 80 with 0 gap and you up Fire mastery( your imbue mastery) and your Weapon mastery till 300/300
- why are you going to start farming at lvl 64 ? because Stones lvl8, Gears lvl8, SoX lvl 8 are expensive and you are going to grind for a LONG time in caves or in takla ( i recommend caves until lvl 72 for any build, u don't have to listen to it though but i prefer caves than takla because in cave udon't have to run, just stand and kill ) So you are going to find and to sell a lot of expensive stones, gear( SoX? ), and elements. so you r going to be rich ! ( if you stall as much as possible when u don't play )
TIPS
- don't buy or use any job suits ( don't go to job *never* ) until u are lvl 80
- don't go to guild wars
- avoid chatting as much as possible, you lose a lot of time when you type everyday, probably more than you imagine ( use chat if a GM come next to you and ask to you if you "r botting though !!! )
- don't waste your time to buy gears with 5str 5int or SoX, spending time in town won't bring you any XP. go to town only to buy pots, and to stall when you go afk. just buy nice 8th degree gears set1&set3 since you are going to farm/pvp with them
- be armor/prot mix. since you can mix them finding/buying gears will be fast/easy/cheap. they are also usually cheaper than garment. you r going to be lvl 64 quickly (since you lvl with 0 gap why thell would u buy expensive gears only for using them a few days ?) have a mag def problem ? just avoid earth taoist in ravine, sonar and planar in karakoam.
- buy a lot of pots, in your inventory you must have pots/pills and quest items, return scroll only, nothing else
- use item mail ( Gold ticket 4 weeks - Monkey or squirel or rabbit - if you can afford them 100% res scroll, dmg 20% increase durig gold ticket, repair hammers to avoid to go to town ) personnally i used only gold ticket and squirel nothing else.
- do not buy/use global chats,( waste of irl cash/time/invetory space)until u are 80.

pff damm this guide makes me feel like this is a single person game instead of a mmorpg
why not chat? why not job? (game is called "silkroad" jobs are the storyline lol)
and the topic title makes this seem to be "THE guide to level 80" id say make that a loners guide to 80.. some ppl play this game to have fun together with other ppl. and i thin youll be way better off in a guild/union than on yourself.
if you level to 80 following this guide you should seriously be askin yourself where you get the time from.

this is obvious. The guide is about to be lvl 80 fully farmed and to be rich. is jobing going to help that ?

and i only said to avoid jobing until 80, which mean that once uare 80 u can job all the time <.<
i even said in first sentences, that it's hardly possible to be like that " no chat no job never " that s why i said " be like that as much as possible " because i know that is hard and almost no one can be a pur " nerd " like that.
did you ever read ???
and the topic title makes this seem to be "THE guide to level 80"
thanks. that is exactly what i wanted to do. looks like igot success lol

i didn't play like the guide, when i was lvling, i mostly play with 4-5 gap because i wanted to be lvl caped and fully farmed at the same moment at lvl 70 when takla wasn't there yet.
but if i had to do a new char i'd follow this guide.
Of course a legit player who follow this guide won't be as rich as some ppl *cough* who use a 3rd party software, but i think this is the better way to get rich for legit players.

actually jobbing does help, U GET MONEY FROM TRADING OR KILLING THIEVES AS A HUNTER OR STEALING LOOT AS A THEIF

grinding bring much more money than trading with items elixirs elements and tablets a lot of money if you find SoX which mobs drop just pay pots back and the gold which they drop just pay the pots, also when you trade you are probably going to get popped, especially on Xian and troy
killing thieves doesn't make money unless if they are wanted, only about 20 k and to kill wanted thieves u better to be high lvl.
Trust me i rob XX or 1XX traders per week and Thiefing doesn't really bring money, loots are usually not enough to cover the pot spent while jobing.
but if you want to try to be 80, fully farmed and rich with jobs good luck

I absolutely love this guide!....except the avoid chatting part. Might as well bot if you're going to avoid chatting. Can't wait till they introduce european chars for more party oriented activities
Anyway, what would you do when your pickup pet/inventory gets filled with arrows and you still have over half an inventory of pots left?

Maybe just throwing them away from inventory?
Anyway, i agree with job'ing. If you wanna make money trading, you need go with 4-5*, which is like kamikadze run. 1*? Just waste of time. I don't agree with no chatting. No chat = no friends and ect.
But i must say those are really not bad tips...specially with farming, and i must say, i will follow this tip, thx ^^

well you can chat but wasting your time on south gates doing some pvp and chatting is probably what hi_babe was saying
jobbing no matter how many stars it is not as effective as it should be.
it is just a fun factor of the game after all those hard worked grind hours to do some relief in jobbing.
and this guide should only be considered for already experienced players because it takes a lot of patience not to job or pvp and only grind till you reach a certain level.

set your monkey to pick up gold and items, drop arrows somewhere else, and re set your monkey to put arrows etc. getting monkey full take a while, during this while you ll spend pots, you can also put arrows and tabs in your inventory.
p.s. do not forget to do the 3 quests which add slots in the inventory. And keep in mind this little tip : in your inventory you must have pots/pills and quest items, return scroll only, nothing else

You'd have to go pretty far away to drop the arrows then ><
Wolf and pet healing/hgp potions are optional to be placed in inventory i assume...

If you factor in the pots, horses, pills and all other expenses, the profit you make from jobbing is VERY little.
Grinding = Drops, Tabs, static supply of gold with every mob you kill and an
absolute one-hundred percent chance that you will profit from the expenses, such as pots.
REMEMBER: You are not always successful in your trade, hunting or theifing. There are always people of the opposite job willing to hunt you down. That means you
can not rely on jobbing for a constant cash income.
Great guide. I fully agree with not chatting/jobbing if you really want to be high level. Someone who can dicipline themselves into following this guide WILL be successful, and capped in not so much time.
The guide could do with a little reformattingto make it more clear, but i would follow this guide 100% through. GJ.

i would love to follow this guide but im confused on how much sp do i need if i dont farm till lvl 64? im a pure int, so yea im just farming at 32 atm but i wanna move on...

ok i kindof did misinterpret a lot of things so soz for that
except from the part that there is no community action involved i find this guide very interesting and different from the others. id like to try follow it on my new pure int..
is it doable without buying pets and gold ticket? or will this take like 3 times as long? and what gap should we have to keep our skills on a proper level till 64?

So you're saying if we are pure str, only get your weapon skills? Then MAYBE get imbue?

I think PvP is really neccesary to develop your character. Youn will learn how to use what skill in what situation.

HOLY S**T. Simply you could say, quit your job, lock yourself in the room with the comp and play for 20 hours a day. 4 hours of sleep are enough to survive, 1 hour for eating and you drink while you play, come on.
THE GAME IS ABOUT HAVING FUN NOT A RACE WHO WILL GET 80 FASTEST!!!

it depends on what you want from the game. different people view things differently, so don't criticize hi babe on this grinding guide.
hi babe ^^ we should job together sometime
in any case, on to the topic: this is a pretty good grinding guide. those who complain about never being able to level should take a look at this guide. some people wonder why they never level. well it's partially because they either cape all day to avoid grinding to begin with, or has this falsified belief of how jobbing actually earns you money
Although, I think it's extremely hard to completely follow this guide. I don't job much myself, but I go when union needs me. I chat with my guild all the time, because i very much enjoy myself from that. But hi babe's right. if you want to get to 80 the fastest the legit way, this is indeed what you need to do.

by crazy death
Well, I have to agree that that guide does show a very fast way of grinding and money making.
But why I am playing a game? Right... to have fun. Where is the fun here before you finally hit 80 which will still take several months? I rather take some more time to hit the cap but therefor have sum guildwars, thiefing, hunting whatever...
but seriously, whoever just sits in front of his computer for 3, 4, 5 or many more hours just to grind grind grind and nothing else should think about his life
So the Guide for its own is nice, but its just unrealistic in my opinion.

Simple and clear, you save money and sp hassle.
Just level and the progress will be clear.
