It's almost astonishingly simple, yet somehow, it works for me. Try this exactly how I explain it:

1. Load the game as normal.
2. Click anywhere with the mouse to bring up the login box. Click into username field.
3. Type your username, press tab, type your password.
4. Now, use the mouse to click the OK button and leave the cursor over it.


At first I thought it was just a coincidence. But then I started doing this every single time, and every single time now I login straight away. I've not once had the annoying "Disconnected from server" pop up, whereas before I would load the game more than 20 times attempting to login. I used to just type my details and press Enter- no clicking of the button.

Miracle technique? I need others to test exactly what I'm doing to see what's going on. So if you normally have login problems, try this and tell me what happens.

Ahah, I might try that Although I rarely got disconnected. I think it depends on when you log in to the game, also I always check the server status.

If it's just "Jammed" There's no problem to me at all.
But if it's "Overburden" There are times when I got disconnected.

I havent got disconnected or anything for the past 2 days, i'v always logged on first try. Hopefully itll continue like that

Interesting theory. I'll have to try that. I'm too used to just keyboard entering everything I do on the computer. (I'm a shortcut kind of person )

doesn't seem to be like that here.

I'm not really sure, I've always used the mouse button and had login problems. It could be just that the servers are better after the new beta started. I do get disconnected sometimes during the game but I don't think it's the game, my whole internet seems to goes off for a few seconds

ythere was a period where any mouse activity = disconnect

they fixed it but i dont have problems getting on

The 2nd day I played which was the end of october, it took me 6 hours to login

well i think it seems to work

i never use the mouse to log in enyway

1. hit enter key
2.tipe userneme
3. hit tab
4. enter pass
5. hit enter and ur in

and if you can move lara croft left right forward forward back jump left to the tune of the spice girls you unlock nunde mode!

getting the "Disconnected to server" message is the worst... you'd think they could just give you the appropriate error message (server busy, can't connect to server, etc.) rather than quitting the client and making you restart it all, go through the whole news screen, all the loading, etc. it's a careless bug that i think needs to be fixed.

this does not work i tried it past 10 times stupid server wont let me in.

It has also stopped working for me since the latest update.

huh, i just figured it did that to keep people from using bots to login for them to grab the first available slot. i DID think it was weird for it to be so random though

Actually it works for me...
Everytime I just hit enter it'd take 40 mins off opening and re-opening the client. But whenever I click the connect then click again and hold it in, it seems to connect me...I don't know if it truly works but its done what I wanted it to do. And thats get into the game.

I've tried both of these methods... (one by Moogie, then one by DeathJester) neither seem to work at high traffic times for me...

why not just hold down enter? i think it works for me but see if u guys can
login with that method

holding down enter also gets disconnected from server if they are over crowded

but its my backup method

It doesn't work too well with overburdened status which is lower right?
Weird but this is the only way I connect with ease.

I think alot of xian players wouldnt really find it compareable seen as youre on the newest server.

The method seems to work for me (Im in AEGE)
Occasionally, I still get DC'ed tho
When that happens, I normally click on "list" and then "AEGE" then "OK"
Then, I click on "Connect" and wait

Anyhow, that worked for me^^

i have tried moogie's method for a month and it had worked, until one time i did it and it didnt work. mayb it just luck

One time I got really pissed off cuz I couldnt get in so I typed everything in and spammed the ENTER key... lol works like a charm... So everytime I log in and get disconnected the 1st time I go back and spam the enter key and get in

its not a mariacle technique or anything like that...
when SRO made the item mall feature avaliable, they also increased the amount of people allowed on every server during the update so yea. laggier game play but atleast you won't get disconnected as much
