dus anyone here kno a brilliant theif guide,or one that has been previously posted,if someone could make a guide or find a link that would b great

There is no guide to being a good thief.
All you have to know is that being quick is what is needed to do the thief job well.

1)hit them hard, hit them fast. make sure u have zerk ready for emergencies.
2)stay off the main road so u can suprise other ppl
3)if ur a really high lvl u mite want to conceal ur true lvl by using a low lvl weapon.
4)bring alot of pots and transport scroll for back up.
5)working in a pair is better as one can as scout and act as support for the other thief. also if there is another thief looting your goods your partner can wear their hunter suit and kill them for you.
6)get some pvp experience by cape fighting. know the aspects in which ur character excells in and also know your weaknesses.

those are just some basic guidelines that i learned through thieving experience.

Also another tip, if your going to hideout and "camp" a spot for a trader to come.... find a nice spot that completely conceals you. Also if you are going to camp, take off your weapon and any buffs that illuminate a sort of glow.. this lets other spot you with ease. If you are a ranged fighter (bowyer, nuker) you may want to find a spot in which you can hit them while still hiding, this wont completely save you.. but it will make it more difficult to target you and can usually get a free shot off that you normally wouldnt be able to ^^
