I tried killing the tigers but didnt get any updates that I killed 1 of them. is this broken now?

Are you doing the Tiger Grinding Teeth quest?(i think its what its called)
Anyway... if i recall correctly you cannot do both at the same time... one will overide the other. Once u finish collecting the 10 teeth the counter for the tiger hunting will start hope it helps

ah i see coz before I could do both at the same time thats why i was wondering why cant i do it again oh well ty anyways

I just abandoned it once (i was doing the tiger molars quest at the same time) And then started it again, and it worked fine for me.

But i im still looking for that last molar....
