Steady- means then u use and elixer and fail u will not lose the other +'s on the item i believe it only works with out a useing a luck powder

Luck- means u have a greater chance of success useing the elixer

now when u use these powers they will disapear of the item u used for each time u use an elixer so +3 luck use one it go to +2 luck.

Immortal- im not all to sure but its like if the items breaks then it wont break :?

There are four types of Elixir.

Accessory: Use this on jewelry items- necklaces, earrings, and rings.

Protector: Use this on equipment- it works for Armor, Protector and Garment pieces.

Weapon: Use this on your weapon.

Shield: Use this on your shield.

If you need to know exactly how to use the Alchemy process, do the following. Press A to bring up your Actions menu. One of the icons there will be Alchemy- rightclick it to bring up the Alchemy screen. Your weapon/equipment/jewelry goes into the big slot to the left. Next slot along is where you put your Elixir, and the one after that is for Lucky Powder. Once you've fitted your items into the slots, click the button called Joint and pray.

Hope that helps some.

It worked well twice.

I wunder what the odds are of getting it higher without losing all of them.

If we can get a thorough 'How to use elixers and mix alchemy' post, that explains elixers, 'degrees', lucky potions, etc - I'll stick it.

Heck if ya want, I'll put some images on the FTP and host them for ya.

From what I've read in other forums and in-game discussions, it has been stated many times that you can't put more elixers into an item than it's number of degrees. For example, a 4th degree item can only be enchanted with elixers up to 4 times. Whether or not it is possible to go past that or if risk is greatly increased is unknown to me, however.

Are all luck powders the same? Are you best to use the weapon, elixer and 3 luck powders altogether?

You have to match the type of luck powder with the degree of the item. Therefore a 4th degree item would only benefit from a 4th Lucky Powder. I'm not sure if multiple luck powders are allowed or if they even make a difference.

you realize this is one hella old thread

and steady is for fixing whites, it means other whites won't get messed up if the steady is there

this sounds like it must be shortly after alchemy was added
