Maybe this will get a sticky for the users who want to do this.

Tired of playing SRO fullscreen when you want to multi task?

Simply press windows key (next to your alt key) + alt + enter and voila...youre windowed!!

Now you can do all kinds of stuff while doing that tedious grind!

Doesn't work for me, all it does is change the resoulution form 1024X768 to 800X600 -_-

I paintshopped the SS and i looked at the windows... the first window in the back top left is a Cd player of some sort (Playlists and such listed), the background has AIM in it, the far right is some other kind of program... teamspeak maybe? and the window there most definately reads "Silkroad" in the far left pane (the one thats highlighted).

the window size is equal to the in-game resolution (cant change it via mouse drag). if this is also = your windows res., you can barely notice that your in windowed mode. so you may want to play in a lower res for the time you want to run the game in window mode

is that not just an Mirc channel though?

It doesn't work for me. I think it has something more with the drivers you're running with your video card. not SRO

win+alt+enter opens windows media center for me

This works great for me. I now run SR in 1024x768 and my desktop on 1280x1024, before I had to run both in 1280x1024. Thanks a bunch!!
