New player o.O

K, friend told me to check this game out, I'm an old diablo 2 player she thought I'd like it. I've no clue about what each of the skills do, and I don't feel like screwin up my first character, is there a guide for skills/stats anywhere? if so can someone link me?

I need teh help.

Check out Fly's guide, its in either Guides/Tutorials, or Character's Skills. I recommend the Pure Strength/Glavie/Fire build.

to get a general feel of what's going on, you must start a character.

now. it really depends on what you want... all i can say is, you should make a character that you will enjoy. and not just blindly follow someone's guide that they claim to be THE BEST THAT OWZNESSLDWSOAIE4R374

eventually u gotta discover your own path... or else we'll all just be clones.

so the above was listed, Fly's guide, which includes 4 rough outline for the apparent "best" characters.

Then the second, thatw as listed, is SuicideGrl's "Hybrid" guide. this one is recommended if you want to have more fun with more skills.

that's moogie's general tips. it'll help you greatly.

I used to play Diablo 2, as well. the hacks there eventually turned me off.

seriously, start the game... play for an hour... then come back to read the various sticky's on the guide section of the forum... you'll find it helpful.
