Way to protect yourself...

...When Jobbing

IF TRADING :

Take a thief and a hunter with you on mutlistar.
If a high lvl thief kills you and your hunter, he cannot kill the thief. If the thief already has transport, he can quickly pick up your goods and move to a safe place. You then go meet him and collect your goods.

IF THIEVING :

Take a hunter with you.
He can kill thiefs and their transport for you to collect.
I do this alot. It is a quick way to gain thief exp and items.

IF HUNTING :

Take mercs or more hunters.
Cos there is really no way a thief can help you.

Hope this helps.

(More 'Way to help yourself' guides coming soon)

buy goods as trader, unsummon the camel outside of town, have your theif friend summon his camel, take your trade flag off. go to target town. put your trade flag on, have your freind unsummon his camel. summon your camel. pick up goods go into town with them.

Was that directed at me?

Your thief friend wont take your stuff to thief town, just told it until you get back to stop the other thief that killed the trader taking it.

thought of the idea when i got to 20 and me and my friends were trying to trade without interuption from level 60s. only got to test it once, since my friends got fed up and bought gold. however it did work that one time.

The problem with that is, if you don't think you can make it to the next town with your goods as a trader, what makes you think your thief friend will be able to?

no one cares about being a hunter, everyone cares about being a theif.

hunters and traders move around you can evade them easily. theives camp.

A Job suit dosnt determine if you can buy mercs, its about being the leader of a guild. You have to be the leader of a guild to access the guild store, and you have to be a guildmaster to summon mercs.

i think he thought merc = merchant goods,

the merc we are talking about is guild mercenaries.
