I was lvl 16 with 9 lvl gap so my masteries are like lvl 7 with fire imbue lvl 2, double shot lvl 1 and devil's bow lvl 2.

I am sp farming at the stronghold level 2 with bandit archers.
I can 1 hit kill them but i got 256 sp exp per kill WITH 100% exp helper.
And im not using SOS bows at all.


I do think this will take forever to farm.
Do you guys think its good to de-level to lvl 14 and ill go buy market item(skill reset thing) adn delvel my masteries to lvl 5?
And sp farm with bandit archers with lvl 14 and masteries lvl 5.

Any suggestions?

It will be faster at lvl 14, but at lvl 14, u would definitely need to spend big money on a good sox lvl 8 bow, or else the farming would be inefficient.

So, keep going at lvl 16 is probably the best choice. Remember to take breaks from sp farming every now and then. You can do it

Im currently farming with 9 lvl gap as well. With SOM+5 bow. In my opinion farming with bandit archers is the best/fastest way to farm for SP with a GT. I get about 6-7k perday. farming 200k will take about 1month or a little longer if you keep a 6-7K daily farming. Which I am trying to accomplish.

So you play 5-10 hours a day? WTF!

you don't need som for archers.... it's overkill
sos+3 is already one shot
and i 2 shot bandits which give 450 sp in party with gt so i mix both

I get about 3-5k for 3 hours of work

if you are able to one shot bandits and add archers on a busy side/corner then you will be doing even better

this is mainly given as an alternative for ppl who are bored, want more cash or drops... or if the main archer hunting spots are taken...

... I also carry an som spear which does heavy damage, then i can clean up any mess with the bandits as well i will use my zerk with spear when the bandit giants pop, then go back to bow with like 4-5 bubbles of zerk left

also no matter what weapon you got, hopefully a bow, if you can't one shot, i suggest leveling to a high level like 20+ to get your stats up and then delevel so you can be more effective in your sp farming at lvl 16.

This is my first farming character and i made all sorts of mistakes and despite it all within 3 or 4 weeks of fixing everything and now farming effectively i already have almost 20k

So, if you're having some trouble, get things sorted out and you'll be done farming within a couple months maybe 3 at most.

you can not 1 shot kill archers with sos+3 if your str. ints is a different story.

also, to the original poster of this thread. at lvl 14 you wont be able to 1 shot kill archers.

most new players do this mistake when it comes to farming. dont care how many sp you get per kill. you should only care how many sp you get per hour played. and you will find out that at lvl 16 with 9 gap is the most you can get per hour.

You don't get anymore sxp with a greater-than-9-gap. Just less xp. I think.

you will have a 9 lvl gap to lvl 16. at 17 you will have 10lvl gap, at lvl 18 8 gap, etc etc. at lvl 20 you will have 13 lvl gap. you do de-lvl back to 16 and you now have a 9lvl gap. makes sense?

Either leave them at 7.... or raise them and do cursed hearts quest and lower them.

Thats maybe if he's pure int with everything with int 100% on it. Str ppl need som bow with LOTS of int on everything.

I'm pure str and this is sucking for me, I'm in exactly the same situation level 14, get like 63 exp 109 sp lol :/ Have to use a crap bow coz I can't use the lvl 16 one.

u either play non stop for 24 hours or bot like crazy. at 6000sp u need to kill over 20,000 bandits a day. thats around 850 per hour. or around 14 a minute. thats if u play non stop. for a 24 hour period. not to mention u have to die like 50 times every 1500 sp or so.

yes but when was the alst time u went to the bandit archer spawn with no one else around? pi'm not saying killing 14 is no possible i'm saying killing 14 a minute for 24 hours a day is not possible.
