pure str builds can do more crit times than a pure int build
so more str you have more crit you can do
is that true ??

The amount of str or int you have has nothing to do with how many crits you do.
The amount of crit you do is based on the critical attribute of your weapon.

Well you can think what you want, but that's how it works.

What's the point in asking a question if you're going to dismiss the answer you get anyway

No, it isn't true. The chance of you hitting a monster with a critical attack is based on the critical rating on your weapon, not if you have more STR. Let's put it this way.

A guy with 1,000 STR and a critical attribute or 3 on his weapon will hit more monsters with more crits than a guy with 9,999,999 STR and no critical attributes on his weapon. Got it? :D

I think the reason some people may have thought this is because the str characters are usually hitting a mob several more times, whereas the int characters are looking to one-hit...

Less strikes appears to be less crits...

hmm?

Partly true. The more hits you get, the higher chance one of them will be a crit. However, crits only affect physical attacks (why STR chars seem to crit more often than INTs). Nukes are not affected by the crit value on a weapon.

GOD DAMNIT JUST SAY STR WEAPONS JUST NATURALLY HAVE A HIGHER CRIT ATTACK BUILT INTO THEM = more critical. :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

int characters/builds also have str in them, they might have 200str or whatever number, but when they use nukes, they dont do critical! you know why? because nukes dont do critical even tho the player has str in them

so in conclusion your beleif is wrong.

The crits of a str character will do more damage though. Me as bow users I can say:

AMFG, A CRIT *cumshot*

and hellyeah i love to overreact..

Read this table

http://sro.mmosite.com/database/items_weapon.shtml

Sword has better base crit than blade and spear has better base crit than glaive 8) . The point its that the high levels pure int normaly they base their attack on nukes more than on wepons abbilities and a pure magical attack (like nukes) cant crit. You will see a pure int "criting" frequently if he go to close combat and use his weapons skills, but even on this case the damage increase will not be really big because the crit only double the physical damage.
