That absorbs magical damage, the ice wall absorbs physical.

Good against monsters but pretty pointless against players I would imagine, it will save you a few hp pots, best used with a bow or if you can keep the agro' of a giant on you while you use spear/glaive.

My opinion... negative! you wont really use it especially for its cast time. Isnt very good in PvE either, atleast Ice wall has some advantages for ranged DPS(damage per second) or healers.

its seriously dumb at low lvls cuz there are like no monsters ur lvl that does magic dmg or atleast i dont think so i had it when i was lvl 26 and it sucked it just drained mp and the monsters did more dmg cuz it was physical. It might be really helpful when u have to kill taoist but i think thats it.

Couldn't an archer use it at for example the dark eyed ghosts and just stand there and shoot while a monkey picks upa ll the drops?

True, good use there for SP farming to the max. =)
