how about a random information guide, things that even ppl who have been playing for awhile won't necessarily miss if they don't have it, but is good to know....

- the trace function
- second page to the party matching

those kinds of things

What about... making a good & succesfull party .
Or general hints & tips. Or maybe you can study the drop rates of all kinds of creatures (kill about a 1000 and check how many weapons - armore - accessory etc was dropped) :D

I would think the most important guide would still be the complete damage formula. Yes I know SG posted a nice thread on it some time back and there's quite a bit of info here and there on it but nothing really definitive as far as I know.

Or perhaps at least a guide on how points put into Str affect Phys Balance or points put into Int affect Mag Balance. Yeah I know I demand a lot but well you asked :P

EDIT: hmm found some stuff on it while searching... haven't tested it for accuracy yet though...
http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=7262

... and of course SG's original thread on it:
http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=2636

could we get these stickied... would serve as a nice frame of reference to start with IMHO...

I want to make my own guide but im not like...

...an endgamer or anything...

And I dont wan't people being all "h@H2@!!!1! n00BeNz!!! 1 PwNzz yooh!!!"

I was going to make a GOOD thieving guide. because Im tired of hearing everyone complain about how hard thieving is, and how they make crap for gold, and yada yada. BECAUSE I can make like 400k a day thieving, and not if im lucky. if im lucky i could make a mil lolol. But anyway...

...Idk.

Maybe you should make my thieving guide for me. because you HAD a higher lvl then me and won't get mocked for making a guide, so on, and so forth. (I would also include screenies where applicable o_O)

I dont know what to do though.

::::EDIT-Read Hellsharpt's post before you read this EDIT::::
yes yes, i totally lied. lolol. :P

400k would be an ungodly amount to get from thiefing and the most ive every seen someone get on ONE looting is 400k, he was some super high lvl. (I think theres a pic of it in the screenies people submit right??) :?

The most ive gotten in one run.=40k. :)

And that was totally luck. (but in that whole day i got a few more lootings and totalled out to around 200k, though im not sure how much gold i HAD in my storage before i deposited my looting earnings, compared to how much I actually looted, so I really cannot give a good solid estimate on how much I earn per day thieving. I think on a bad day like 20k. and on a good day like 100k. But youd have to spend the whole day thieving to get that at lower lvls so idk.)

AND Ive read that thief guide theres just some things you say in it...

...that I dont ...totally agree with. but youre an endgamer and leader of a lvl4 guild so i guess you're (most likely) right.

but now that ive been thiefing alot more with two chars ill go back and read it AGAIN to see if i still don't. :)

Sorry for the deception peoples. Lolol.

And i figured master_wong wouldnt be able to make a thief guide. I alwasy thought of him as a hunter//merchant type....

....Hmm. Anywho. And i meant 400k as a record (a.k.a ungodly maximum amount) anyway, which im SURE I will be able to do when i hit lvl 40+.

thief guide:
http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=8457

ps if you make 400k per day at a minimum theiving you would be well over level 2 thief. At level 2 ~ 35k =1% towards level 3, so you'd get 11%+ per day and be level 3 in less than 10 days.

The ONLY way to regulary get that much loot every day is to do so in a manner which is not to be discussed on this forum.

Maybe u could make a guide explaining all the terms in this game ...like a dictionary :D

I never knew what attack ratio and block ratio were and all of that stuff...(d@mn stupid terminology  )

EDIT: I did a quick search and found a thread about acronyms but that's not what I mean.. :P
