Hi all
yup, newbie here. i've been looking around and i haven't found an answer to my question. i plan on going pure int, lightning, spear and i'm following kagenutto's guide that suggests sp farming until level 10. my question is, how am i supposed to kill things when i so little damage because im pure int? does pure int imply a little str in the beginning so i can level, does a pure int character get a magic skill ealier, or do i just have to stick it out for a lot longer than another build?

Re-read my guide. I wrote is specifically from a pure INT standpoint. A pure STR will have an easier time with my SP Farming guide. You are going to level to 9 when you will in enough points to pick up your first elemental Imbue power. Then nothing else until after level 14. Best way to farm SP is to get a level 16 SOS or SOM weapon and farm to you hearts content.

It is very easy even as a pure INT char to follow my guide. You will want to use a bow for the first 4 shots. Pull from a distance with a bow and then use a melee weapon when they get close. I did this yesterday with a brandnew character, so I can start working out the level gap ratios and it's a bit trickery then I thought it would be for making that chart..... but anyhow, I did this with a NEW character as a pure INT and got to level 10 in about an hour of play time. Of course I had a tiny bit of extra money for some pots.. but oh well.
