it would be very nice if someone would make a nice up to date hunting guide that includes euros :D

Don't bother being a hunter until about...oh, level 75. (Depending on your server)

Make sure you get in a party with a trader whose npc thieves won't kill you (duh).

Assess level, then kill any thieves you see out of town if you can. Collect your weekly paycheck.

I became a hunter at lv32, worked out pretty well for a rogue.

I can totally understand that if you're on a newer server with only a few level 70-90 thieves, but on Olympus it didn't work too well for me :P
