Either invest some sp in the DoT's (they wont do much dmg, but they will take the wall away and give statusses if you lvl them a bit (dull/bleed)) or hope for a stun on sprint assault, that wil instantly cancel the wall.
I'm just about to make a warrior/'lock. Honestly, I do not want to farm that nearly 1mil SP and with a constant gap I'd need like gap6 all the way. So my question would be: If I'd like to stick to only one weapon + warlock skills, which warrior weapon shall I choose? 2H for decent damage or 1H for constant shield and better tanking?
I wanna be on the top of it I wanna live for the fun of it I wanna speak for just a little bit

I don't feel like farming all that sp either lol. I'm just sticking to 1 weapon and that is 1h. I'm getting cursed hearts though because I lvled up my dual and 2h's at one point..and if things don't work out i'll just delevel stuff.
havent seen it in action but destroys the part of tanking for pt.
It's not a fail after all. Imagine you haven't a warlock in the party, such a tanker will be nice. Clerics just heal him, while he can debuff opponents. It's not a fail, you just have to think about what it can do in a party.
Hi all, a long time is gone since my last movie about my 1h Warrior/Warlock. but few month ago i have reached lvl90 , here is the newest movie... enjoy...

thats different that means u eliminate tanking and only focus on debuffing...ur not using the other class as an advantage...they seem to be substitutes in group pvp.

How couldn't a pure STR debuffer tank (with a shield)? There are even pure STR clerics on chaser parties if they're short of clerics.

a tanker in lock/shield =/= a tanker with sword/shield, its just a char standing there with 28k hp to back him up.

Just standing there? Do you even know what the debuffs can do to the target, for example division? The damage will increase rapidly. And I'm talking from CTF experience. A warlock can debuff a player that much that bless spell is worthless. But I guess someone'll just say some bs again, making my post look like nothing.

u keep avoiding what ive been saying...a tank is not a tank while using another class...and im not talking about no ctf shet..im talking about a large scale fw or gw.

You are partially correct in this. The Warrior/Warlock is not the traditional tanker. More specifically, this build does not depend on having increased defense to tank. Tanking as a Warrior/Warlock is as follows; you make your opponent's skills and damage obsolete. That's pretty much it. When your enemies can't even touch because they keep getting stunned and when they finally reach you their damage is horrible because of Impotent, or (if they have Holy Spell) they can't even use pots because of Panic Status you'll find yourself winning many battles (if played correctly). By contrast, the Warrior/Cleric is solely dependent on their ability to heal themselves whenever in trouble versus many targets. But when they keep hiding behind their Cleric rod the whole time, aren't they just healers standing there with 28k HP to back them up?
Even so, the Warrior/Cleric build works just fine as does the Warrior/Warlock build and as does any build that uses its subclass correctly. When a Warrior switches from, say, 1 Hand Sword to Cleric rod for healing or Warlock rod for stunning or debuffs it does not necessarily mean they're substituting their subclass instead of tanking. They're just using resources they have available to them to their advantage in battle. I'll have you know that the Warrior/Warlock build works just fine in guild wars and fortress war. There are many AoE debuffs in the Warlock class that make the Warlock a very much needed class in large battles. How and when you use your subclass and Warrior class is what matters most, not which subclass you have. =)

Oops. Sorry for wall of text. =.=
hm..i wanna see a tank/lock in action..u by any chance participate in fw's on ur server or gw's...make a vid ^_^
A REAL tanker never switch to his sub. Otherwise his friends die immediately with lack of warrior buff.
In a really organised mass war, warrior/warlock = warrior/cleric = warrior/no sub.

anyone know whether mirage/phantasm works > 80% of the time if you wanted to lure aggro mobs onto someone when grinding or plvling? (say against a botter etc)
Who's this up-herself-biaaatch I tell ya??? I want some PIZZA *mooch*
In a real War people Will always Fall, and when they Do. The War/Lock will be there to hold it together until the team gets back up and ready. In Ctf if my team falls, I run back to tunnel wait for them to come at me. Sleep,Stun, Debuffs. Switch, Buffs Wait for Backup. I aint going anywhere
//Edit
Note: as War/Lock you get to pick your enemies if your smart and lucky enough to have skills higher than there Clerics HS. If they havent one well. Goodnight.
CURSE YOU FUG, I'm making a war/lock this instant.... One question. I don't have the money to pay for farming at ongs so which weapon should I take (1h or 2h) until the time I can farm myself. And at what level should i farm the extra SP? thnx, u rock.
Thanks to Nelson12 from www.gamesforum.com for this awesome sig _______ "It's only cheating if you get caught"

I got the same question xD, Wouldn't 1hand be faster? 2h obviously packs a better punch, But more time per kill.
