[Guide] Pure Int Bow

the entire thing about bow being hybrid weapon... all chinese weapons are hybrid :S lol

and having pure int before 30 fight isnt much, they dont get their nukes till then, and best arrow skills are bit later

bow has more mag attack than sword so the damage is better, the hp is lower than s/s and spear but the kb can make up for it :S but attacks do take a bit too long to use while getting hit

Ive been thinking of perhaps Pach/Ice/Force 90 and 30 Fire for lvl 90 cap for this build. Its not a bad idea as the ice for imbue, maxed snow shield, force will increase your average dmg output which is the whole point of making the pure int in the first place.

I thought pure int bow wasn't such a bad idea, but looking at those screenshots they really do low damage. I did double that damage when I was lvl 64! (I'm pure int spear)

you sure? cause according to highest damage contest, most for 6x is 76k on zerk to mangyang, so thats 38k without zerk and to bunwhang should be about 2xk ish so it should be a whole much more unless you had like som or sosun spear.

pure int bow = 2 hit dead. specially under 73, when u dont hav kb to save ur ass. if u wanna kb, stun, nuke and use snow shield, go spear.

i personally think that having a pure int bow in completely idiotic... but with the ideas in that guide it might work out well..

but yeah i got a int bow now, and i like it, i dont cape pvp but it is good for group pvp since you can hit lots of people

I did make a pure int bow like wat u said.
If without player farm u up level, u will only die like hell and run to the farming spot again and again like mad dog.

Pr int bow eventually will transform into pr int spear nuker. or maybe u are already holding a spear at ur inventory for nuking purpose.

Pr int bow good at low level, and bad for high level. and If you play an int char with bow, better u have SOS / Full+5 pimp armor/pro/garm.

My personal advise,
Pr int best for sword
2nd is spear.
Pr str best for Bow (fast and multiple shoots) and glavie(high damage with stun skil) follow by blade(tank).

hm, i had no problem grinding with bow

just use mind bow/exlopsive arrow/strong bow + light/fire nukes + light imbue and you can always stand in place and you'll lure mobs and keep aoe with bow/nukes and you'll be fine

was actually the fastest grinding char i could find that didnt require a party

Full int bow is _not_ a fail. Its just difficult to play, thats all.

Int Bow=FAIL. It's like Having a Pure Str Spear.. It can't work.
Why? Look at the Pacheon skills. Most of them increase crit, right? A bow NEEDS CRIT.
Bow has a clear advantage over every weapon there is.. Distance.
The only advantage in it is that it can shoot very far with the distance buff [forgot how It's called].
This build may ONLY work with Protector, and Ice+Force.
You won't be able to kill without the debuffs, you wont be able to survive without Snow Shield, and you'll need the extra MP because snow shield takes ALOT of MP.
You will need Harmony Therapy because if you get ambushed by mobs, you'll most likely die.
Your damage wont be as good as a nukers'.
I believe this build MAY work in PvE, hence the very long distance and the debuffs... But in PvP, well, you won't be able to kill anyone your level.

I did a guide too for full int bow and got flamed on like the topic starter. Im farming even now my char(im using garments...), but got a pvp lately(im 77) with a lvl90 full str bow.
He stated, he can kill me without skills, just imbue and he did it. So i told him to do it again, but i will use my mana shield and voila, he couldnt kill me. Even his strongest skill, the str bow capped did 14k crit on me in snowhield (lvl75, 45% absorbtion) The chars name is
king_of_lag, 85+7 bow, crit 10, etc.
So... i dont think, full str bow is that hard to tank, or even other builds. Sure i will die after my shield drops, but int bow is all about dps, not the tanking.
And i repeat, i have a garment set, so -.-
At lvl 85 i switch to protetor, probably suns included -> i show you how to do a pvp.
I killed a full str bow build with sun bow+sun protectors tough he was in snow shield. (at that time i was 71, he was 72, we both had d8 sun bow)

Your average damage will be 80% of the full str bow build crits(yes, just try it) and your crits will have +25-30% extra damage on top of this, wich gives you a bigger damaging crit as the full str bow had.
This damage theme/theory was discussed over and over when ppl introduced the 70:70 bow and got flamed for it.
I was a bit further at that time and knew this build has great potential so i tried this.
BUT.
You need good gear and becoz of this, you have to learn, how to make gold fast and eventually, you need to learn how to play bow correctly/good like switch to shield and back to bow if you want to survive, get 3 weapons+shield and learn to play with them(you are a nuker, dont forget this)
This build gives the most fun for me in pve and in pvp too.
Also, this build has its limits too. So, beware! And think ahead.
This build is the smart mans build.

hm, not saying the build is bad or anything, i have fun playing on it

but i made mine for pve :S its like xbow with ce on always, about same hp and damage as one + with lots more aoe to kill mobs faster
though in pvp, the lack of disabling skills (except for kb arrows at 73) will hurt you if you dont run and hit :S

hybrid = ah hell pure str to easy - mode
int-bow = are u freaking insane - mode
