Yes, I have a +7 staff and If I use Charged Wing I can kill Multiple ints with it and knock back str's then cast One of my 2 huge AOE attacks.

As for what Rizla said, Mana drought is the best skill we have against retards how use snow shield vs us. Successfully cast Mana Drought on them and they are screwed.

Fire blow / Salamander blow. I love it. Can kill ANY lvl 80 with it. And in zerk will take a giant from 100% hp to 30% hp within 10 seconds.

In my opinion - cleric.
In short the table looks like this:
Solo Leveling - Bard
Giants/Parties/PvP - Cleric
Hardcore PvP - Warlock

nice guide, but I would say lightning shock and lightning impact is a must for the fear status, that is very usefull when fighting a party or giant, and even more usefull when pvping or jobbing so you can easily take out those full sun people. For all you future high lvl wizards out there, your best attack is lightning squall followed by meteor, lightning squall cancels their attack with the KB and also hits them for 3500-4500 3-4 times then you cast meteor to finish them off and 99.9% of the people out there cant withstand those 2 together.

No, I have a sub, read the very first thing in the guide... I think somewhere it says that I have to finish it still... haven't had much time lately though... so I hope to eventually get around to it...

you can add this strategy into your guild if you like.

How to take down a giant/Higher lv monster (lots of hp)

1)use Lightning Shock (2nd book in lightning tree)
2)use Fire Blow (does tons of damage over time. Combined with Life control, this is hardcore)
3)use Root (stops the enemy from attacking your)

Reasons why this works:
1)Lightning Shock - If this works, the monster wont attack you and you are free to keep hitting the monster with massive damage.

2)Fire Blow - Does Tons of damage all together. After you use Lightning Shock, they just sit there and take tons of damage. You could use any skill you wish here, i just use Fire Blow (save MP)

3)Root - Stops the enemy from chasing you (not recommended for Projectile Monsters). This will let you get a good distance away from the monster. Use Lightning Shock again and repeat the steps.

This is effective and a great way to take out Giants that Wizards cant take out by themselves.

great guide. When server Hera comes out, i'm going to make a wizard/cleric using ur guide :) Also, as i've noticed, fire blow is very popular upon comments.. I think u may want to reconsider getting the skill..

Also, you may want to change lightning shock to required: it is very important for killing giants or stronger enemies.

Lastly, i suggest you make mana drain optional, for those who like to PvP. From the comments i've been reading, it seems it is extremely effective on chinese mana shield casters. Since its so effective already, mana drought is unnecessary.

oh and i bookmarked this guide- very useful ^_^

nice guide ^^

but for the warrior pvp being a warrior myself.

just use root or fear on us. then do a quick fire blow. even if we switch to cleric to use integrity and zip (sprint assault) at you, it's usually too late, if our sprint assault fails we're screwed.

Unless the warrior's using the expensive pills or has a cleric with him.

when we switch to cleric rod our skins get cancelled. I guess he could put up a bless then use integrity, vigor out of it, switch weapon and sprint assault. But, most warriors are too stupid to do all that, root/fear + fire blow works like a charm.

^ is for cape. in 8/8 vs 8/8 you won't be 1 v 1ing anyway, probably just blasting everything the tank is distracting.. ksing me.. fcuking 23k nukes

Well, I actually finished the rest of what I hoped to do in this guide last night (and I will post it whenever I fell like it...lol) and I changed the PvP section a bit, because I wrote that part of the guide when I was 60... now that I'm 80, I think differently about some stuff.

1v1 PvPing a warrior is absolutely pointless, if the warrior has decent skill, you will [close enough to] always have any skill you could ever cast canceled by sprint assault or some other attack, and then you're just pretty much a one hit after that. So sure, you might get lucky once in a while, but you won't ever win twice in a row.

damn wizards arent that bad in pvp for example my tactic for warriors is (as i know that will use sprint assault on you) use use lc andfire trap before beginning then 'after sprint assault' when they try daredevil or maddening use chargeback (btw at that time trap should explode) then earthquake and they must die if not then you die :D

What I meant by PvP is if you both line up, buff up, then someone says go. If the warrior knows his build at all, he'll use mana skin, in which case you're fuxxed. Even if you put up bless, you're still a two hit.

good job! one thing though fear is useful for killing without getting killed and root is useful for running away.
