Help me with anti-devil Missle -> Steel please!!!

As the animation of the three books is almost the same... try to change:
skill\china\force_bow_critical_a.efp
to
skill\china\force_bow_critical_b.efp

Use XVI32
Find:
skill\china\force_bow_critical_a.efp
Replace:
skill\china\force_bow_critical_b.efp

I think that should do it...

will, we`r back to 0 point, i did this:

find the num.
find SKILL_CH_SWORD_GEOMGI_A
ani skill 5-13

find SKILL_CH_SWORD_GEOMGI_B
ani skill 13-5

find SKILL_CH_SWORD_GEOMGI_A
shot 1, A - B, shot 2, A-B , btw its soul cut blade i dont know how it have 2 shots.

find SKILL_blah blah_B
shot 1, B-A, shot 2, B-A

done save and test.

its ???? error, tryed to add the string but the same.
any help will be appruciated.

ok i got to the shots part but i keep getting the ???? erroe now. ><
I followed the guild change the 9 on SKILL b to 17 the add 00, then change 17 on SKILL D to 9, the i finaly got to the shots part change all the letters to from B to D then the same with the Ds. so what Am I'm doing wrong its annoying me.

it happend to me, dont add the string, ( 00 ) thing!

farming in bandit strong hold... I like the Anti Devil Bow 1st book with glavie's Flying Dragon 2nd books type and 2 arrow combo with with Devil cut Blade thingy...

i want to change my bicheon chain A to D. i did everything in ur guide but i get error. im litle confused about one thing: 6. step guide say that i need to replace A to D in shots but bicheon chain D have more than 3 shots like chain A does (sry i dont remember skill names) so i have to edit all 3shots to D and all chain D shots to A (there are more that 3!) ? i get game error... or i have only edit 2 shots like i seen in guide pics?

but one has 6 shots and the other has 5 :S

what should i do?

i just ran sro and found that instead of it looking like heaven chain it looks like evil cut blade ^^

now i tried your guide EXACTLY trying to change 2-4, about 3 times and i get ????? error!

is it something im doing wrong or is every1 else experiencing problems.

im still not sure of the shots if u change 3 to 5 although some of u kno as i can see ur screenshots. please share the wisdom

Yes, no matter if the number of shots is different in each one, they must be switched.

And Zygis, the guide might show only two shots but i edited 5... (taking one screenshot of every little move isn't needed... or is it?)

Do the same process changing the ANI_SKILL number and then the shots.

The strings are:
SST: SKILL_CH_SPEAR_STUN_B
SSS: SKILL_CH_SPEAR_STUN_C

GSP: SKILL_CH_SPEAR_ROUNDAREA_B
GSM: SKILL_CH_SPEAR_ROUNDAREA_C

I don't remember what soul blade force is... i assume it's the second KD book so....
KD2: SKILL_CH_SWORD_KNOCKDOWN_B
KD3: SKILL_CH_SWORD_KNOCKDOWN_C

Same process, i already mentioned the soul cut and flying dragon strings in the guide.

The anti devil and combo are:

AD1: SKILL_CH_BOW_CRITICAL_A
2 Arrow Combo: SKILL_CH_BOW_CHAIN_A

if C has 4 shots and E has 5 shots

if i change the 5th shot of E to the letter C will that work?

and also my shots that were C changed to E is missing a shot as E has 5 shots.

what should i do? transfer an extra shot?

Change them... when you change the shots, you change the particle effect, which you need for the skill to show up.

The different amount of shots is precisely the reason why you must change them, for example, if you change the lvl 29 5 hit chain into the lvl 51 5 hit, you don't need to do the shot part. Changing the shots only needs to be done when the amount of shots of both skills are different (or is a different weapon skill).

The method i used was for editing directly into Media.pk2 so you won't need to extract and inject back in.

And yes, if you followed the process closely it should work.

It needs to be done from cursor, so there's nothing wrong with that. Are you sure the ANI_SKILL numbers are correctly changed? And that you deleted, or add the right bytes? Be careful on that.

You will See this:

Look for every line that has "SHOT" in it, As this is the lvl 29 Blood CHain, it will have 4 shots.

Change the B into D.

the screenshots show that only shots 1 and 2 are changed and in D-B

Yes it is correct, the first screenshot shows what it looks like at first, the second, how they look like changed.

Follow the guide according to the TEXT... the screens are a simple little bit of guidance, you can't expect to see every little small detail showed in them.

It won't slow grinding time. cause it just looks like your going for the higher chain, but actually using the maller one o you can just click the next mob and attack them.

[2]Search for 23 73 65 63 74 69 6F 6E 09 63 68 61 72 61 63 74 65 in HEX mode.(Im not sure if this step is necessary but do it anyway ^^)

Lol, Changing a file with HexEditing isn't that effective X.X it's allconfusing and you could do better animations with the injection (or whatever cruor said) method.

Can anyone tell me how do i get the 1st lightning imbue to look like the 4th imbue?
I can get the hit effect of the 4th imbue to work but the imbue itself doesnt change :banghead:

it doesnt change.... you dont hit harder or anything with pk2 editing

i cant get the B-D working
im sucessful with the C-E now but still not B-D

i think it might be the inserting part with the 00 but ive gone over that a thousand times :S i have no clue

When i hit it has the hit effect of the 4th imbue but the imbue still looks the same, i dunno what to do with it anymore >> Tried so many times and so many different ways -__- Clueless...
