Yes this is very true and in about a month so amny people will do this, I already see a crowd pickup but I know the bots from being around long enough and I only go after them.

Lol, the difference is that Legits will put your shit back on the ground because they know the difference between a 1D wrist and a 9D glaive. Bots don't. I would still advise people to be careful and not drop stuff near legits - you don't want to annoy genuine good people.

Lol that happened with em like 5 people around thought one of them wouldve been bots dorpped my entire ivnen with like 15 wrists and they all got messed up cause they dropped it and their pickup pets kept picking it up then more people came and picked it thinking it would be rare drop it was a mess took like 10 mins to get rid of the wrists. I said sorry but 1 guy got really mad.

There are bot's pets that still pick-up gold even when full, but there's a trick to stall the pet right before a giant or party kill to keep it from picking-up gold.
Unfortunately only 1 in 10 players I find are legit on rock mountain, the rest just bot and most boters are almost all are AFK.

I got a chance to see a unique, some sort of bird/bat monster (forgot name); it took a while to kill it.

My 3rd 'trip' resulted in 3 elixirs, 2 STR and 2 INT tabs among other alchemy items and potions.

Some bots had not so nice words for me, but too bad.

I think the bots ahve a counter to this because it worked for 1 day and the next I am guessing the bot was on the pet was picking up the cash even with full inven.

I gave this a try too using a lv 10 Bard.
I used the lv 1 hand armor/robe/protector since they're cheaper then capes and less obvious in the pet inventory.
I did this for about 5 hours and made about 650k and got about 30 tabs.
A few elixirs only as a result of a bot being occupied with other monsters when I grabbed it, usually the bot picks up the elixirs and drops and the pet other stuff and gold.
I did notice that the drop rate is horrible for 9D; giants and party drop tabs sometimes and only seen 1 item drop in 5 hours of chasing bots.
It does not take much to fill-up a pet, took like 10-12 items and it will not pick-up anymore. Giants dropped 10-12k in gold on average and alchemy items too.
Bots invite you to all distribution party also, makes them easy to follow too.
May do it again when I get bored.

Almost the same here. Just that I used a lvl 5 wizard, capes. Did it for.. 2 hours max, got 200k plus money, elixirs and about 20 tabs. Easy to hit the bots, I tend to regrab the capes if the players come back to the keyboard and drop them. Makes my start in Mars a lot easier, thanks !

i tried this the other day on venus but all the bots on brain peak had their grab pets set to pick up my items only so they dindt' go for it, i gave up at that point, i did this before on csro though, its a decent way to get started

Ya, I think we need to take a break on Venus. A lot of the bots have stopped picking up capes

so i was thinking, if the bots always pick up weapons and armor themselves after kills, what if i dropped a bunch of swords or w/e under one of their kills. well, for anyone thinking the way i did, DON'T. it didnt work on the bots i tried it on and now i have an inventory full of weapons and wasted about 30k...

oh and i managed to get a non-afk botter to pick up my crap but it was a turk so i couldnt understand anything and i wasnt able to rub it in. darn

Tried it once on my character, merely dropped 20ish capes near a bot, grinded several hours and got fruitful returns =)

These are what i conclude:

1)Extra loot when i grinded beside the bot.
2)Make a fool out of the bot if an equipment drops.
3)See the bot's come to life and reveal them spending their life staring at the monitor, after boasting about afk for life.

sure was fun, i'd love to do it over and over again whenever i grinds, create a new "hand-bot" trend

If the pet is full and still picks up gold, then before a big kill like a giant or a party monster (monitor it's HP), drop a low lvl item and the pet will stay (most times) with that item until the item is gone and you can take the gold during that time from the kill.

I stopped item dropping/hunting for gold and focusing now on the tabs, I have about 100 tabs collected with the alchemy items. Some pets get stuck in the tree and don't pick-up items too and some bots just leave gold behind.

So wait, by filling up the inventory of pick up pets, it stops them from picking up gold too? are u sure, cause I filled up soo many pets but they still ran around picking up the huge piles of gold. Am I doing something wrong?

It seems it didn't work at all for me.I made a nooblet char,went all the way ro Rok Mountain,found a lonelly bot,started throwing capes and rings on the ground.It's pet started to collect those things and after a while pet's inventory was full.So it stopped picking up items and gold.By why the bot didn't throw any stuff from his inventory?When an tablet had dropped,he picked up it immediately.I had no patience to wait for his inventory to fill up.Tried in other spots - didn't work as well

It works now. i got like enough to make least 10mil+. Thanks for this guide. i am sorted now. Now i just need to sell my junk i found...and then i can start my real buisness. Buying lv85 spears and adding blues to make real cash..and build..towards my 200million goal..xD

= D now i got 23mil. I don `t need this anymore, i am going to buy low and sell high with glavies. It worked before, 9 degree glavies are the best way. 8 degree glavies are crap.

I did this a bit its pretty good and once you get to Roc mountain you never need to walk back so getting lvls up for horse/moving march just for walkign there is pointless.

I made about 1.3m off it. Just got to be carefull of the bots whose pets invs are full yet they still somehow pick up elixirs themselves and sometimes pets tablets stack. If you find a good spot its really good cash.

Guys, I hope you know what you do to yourself, all the noobs will now start dropping capes and other stuff at roc, and the 'legits' sometimes have pick up pets too..
that's why it ain't a good idea to post a guide here, to prevent you from getting flamed ;p

Thing is, when we [Legits] start to grind, we set our pets to "pick my items only", which means we ain't getting those capes.
