But i wouldnt max the first fire nuke.
u may be surprised. It is a nuke that, when maxed, has incredibly good magical damage and has a very fast cooldown. One of my favorite tactics for killing thieves running away from me is using fire book 1, then book 2, then book 1. Book 1's cooldown is so fast that in the time it takes to get back within nuking range of the target, it has recharged. Not sure how clear this explanation was but book 2 and book 3 have incredibly long cooldowns, making it a hassle to link the fire nukes if your lightning nuke isn't too strong.
Since u are trying to make this guide perfect. Could u describe all the fire/light nukes? Which does the most dmg, cooldown and if they atk multiple mobs.
GJ.
One of the best guides ive seen.
Btw: s/s hybrid > spear hybrid.
Edit:
If ive got it right, the fire nukes pwn the light nukes. Why should i then add the light nukeS?
Sticky this guide.

cheers...
I'm a hybrid myself and I've seen myself PVP (level 72 btw).
I survive much better than a pure int and I dish it out nearly as well too with a 95% mag balance.

So true.
And at lvl 90 cap you most probably won't have lightning at lvl 90 > you lose quite a lot of damage on the nukes.
BTW hybrid spear might want to go for chains, they're fun when you're bored of nuking in PvE.

umm well fire nuke book2 does more damage than lightning book 2, but lightning book 2 can aoe mobs that are farther apart AND it does more damage than fire nukes book 1 and 3 when maxed. I have seen good s/s and spear hybrids. Sure, the double stabs pwn, but with a good heuskal fan and a good protector set I think a hybrid spear stands a very good chance if they switch to shield when knocked down.
IMO, light nukes are useful for pure ints, not quite so much for hybrid since they aren't based as much on magical damage. If you go hybrid, it's really a matter of choice as whether to get light nukes or not... and while on that topic I would like to add that if you are not going to add lightning nukes, 68 is the highest you should bring your lightning mastery. Higher than that can be considered a waste of sp and mastery space. And I've always wanted someone to say sticky in one of my threads! Thanks for making my day

as you're from tibet, can you also answer my question?
How much is a SoS 16 Spear with no other improvements worth in tibet?
hmmm I dont keep track of prices of many SOS 16 weps except bow, but considering the price of that has risen considerably lately it could well be worth 2mil. That's my best guess.

frozen:: wrote:Wount The chain series be good for a SS hybrid (80%)?
At least get lvl 1 of the first chain, coz it will speed up lvl so much!
even with 80% mag balance (naked of course) you would still train with mainly nukes after lvl 30. You could throw in some sp to get chains til then though
Blackchocob0 wrote:Dude awesome guide lol. The best one I've read on this forum maybe. It rivals cuchulains.
Thanks so much!!! cuchulain's is actually what inspired me to write this guide, it was just a..... really delayed inspiration

Hey, i just started making a int build. Why do you recommend int hybrid? And how should I go about doing this? Also do you think I should put Lv. 80 on Bicheon, Fire, and Lightning. And Lv 60 as Cold? Thanks, and great guide btw!
P.S. Sry bout the n00b questions, im kinda new to the whole int thing >.<

I'll make it clear I do not especially recommend a hybrid, except perhaps for spear if you would like to be good at general 1v1. I am just suggesting that IF you want to make a hybrid, you try out these balances, since it is my belief that they make for excellent builds. With a hybrid, you basically lose mag atk, mag defense, and mp, but you gain phys atk, phys defense, crit dmg, and hp.
If you are going bicheon, I would chose heuskal over cold for the final mastery. You also don't have to max the fan series, which would reduce your sp by 8k.
You aren't too far along, so for a sword build if you want to make a good hybrid sword go 2:1 from here on and you should be just fine. You will do a little more damage than a 2:1 and have a little less hp

KiNg178 wrote:Ok thnx for all your guys input. But I want a full 2:1 int hybrid, not a 2:1 from 13. So you think I should wait till lvl 16 and then put all str till lvl 20? Then start putting 2 int 1 str from lvl 20? Thanks.
Well, a 2:1 int hybrid should have 58 STR and 77 INT at level 20.
Post your str/int points without your gear on, and by level 20 make sure you have 58 str and 77 int.

u gain 1 int per lvl, so just add 2 int and the rest str from here I think. Yes, that is 58 str and 77 int
OR you can just go pure int like _Medea_ said and add str later. I'll probably post another applet showing what a 2:1 hybrid would have as balances at 80.
