Revive my 70:70 bow and bring it to 90 with 9 gap XD,ill say this build is great as support or even as offensive lineup.but,i think this build need ice more...since i delevel fire and bring ice up and with garment the survivality improve unlike when im using fire and protector.

I'm playing ECsro, And they are raising the cap to 100 Soon, I have a Lv.65 Full Str Bow, But i'm bored of it.

So I'm leveling a 70:70 Bow now, But I'm a bit stuck on the Skills..

Suggestions anyone?..

I was thinking 100Pach/Fire/Cold..

But I'd like to hear from some experienced 70:70 Players.

I like 70:70 Hybrid but i have some question just for the future...

Here are my thoughts, but I have not tested any of them and would love to hear from someone who has.

Cold is going to be essential for snow shield.

The real question is fire or light.


Light has nice speed, magic boost, and the second strongest imbue.

Fire has magic defense, physical boost and the strongest imbue.

If the bow was pure int I would take light in a second, but hybrid deals physical damage as well. The physical boost from fire combined with the power of the imbue should offset any gains in comparison to light's magic boost.

This has me thinking ice/fire is the way to go. I just hate the idea of no speed boost while wearing protector.

it depends on your playing style but, if I were you, I'll take light due to phantom. just mind games in pvp and use phantom.

i was using this build for about a level really nice... going 2:1 str now however. light and ice is good for defence and decent damage however light fire is pure offensive.. dont know much about snow shield and pvp as my highest character is 47 my character was trying to level as a nuker but i swapped it to bow.

The nukes do the same/more damage as a crit from an arrow.
So why would you sacrifice MORE HP or SHIELD for distance/knockbacks?

i have changed my build from what was said previously and i was giving the person feed back on what they posted as i had a lil experience with this build. however i prefer to bow to a sword and shield because my build is more str based then int but not enough to go blade or glaive. (personal preference here)

the nukes do about the same damage as strong bow,
but with crit strongbow is a bit better.
also its faster, has more range and stun+crit enhance
(or so i experienced with my 70:70 fire/ice/bow on ecsro)



a friend of mine is doing a 110fire/bow 60 ice/ 50 light version and its true, without snow he isnt really hard to beat, but the damage output is really high, and celestial beast arrow+strongbow are deadly enough even without crits.

well the OP made all weapon builds with 70:70
i myself have only gone for the spear and bow
i must say they tend to do better than most people would think,
but it seems for sword/spear to reach their true potential it'd be more helpful to go slightly more int since bow is the the most hybrid of them both

I've been slightly following this

I leveled 1-64 as full int spear.. got bored

Since 64 I have added full str and will continue to do so until 103

I am currently

74 pacheon
67 Light (main imbue)
67 Fire (will bring to 80 or 90 depending on what level snow shield i think i want)
20 Ice ( i may up this to 30 depending on how i feel damage reduction wise)

Leveling one tree for farming at 76.. I can't say much about survivability with it yet since i am still mostly full int. But it is FUN which is what matters.

And I chose light over fire for a lot of reasons as my main imbue
1. 70:70 is still int based even though balances are equal. You'll have more int than str invested into your character
2. Light = Splash Damage = LOL TONS OF MOBS = LOL CRAZY FAST XP
3. Speed + ghost walk
4. 22% mag increase and i still get 9/10% phys from fire.. if i chose fire as main imbue i wouldn't get that much combined

the more of an int build you are, the less damage difference there is between crit and normal damage

seen from a full str vantage point, going hybrid is sacrificing life for being less crit dependant.

it is impossible for him to deal less damage with a crit unless his imbue was over

full str you have 90% phys. 10% mag damage
with 10.000 maxdamage this means
a normal hit is 5.5k (4.5 phys + 1k mag)
a crit hit would be the 10k

full int you have 10% phys. 90% mag damage
with 10.000 maxdamage this means
a normal hit is 9.5k ( 0.5k phys + 9k mag)
a crit hit doubling phys would be the 10k

but my bow is still awesome

Int type weapons will get an increase to their int damage and a decrease to their phy damage. Same deal for str weapons (Higher phy damage lowered int damage). This spells the end of the 50-50 split hybrids if this update is true.

spear and sword will get more int dmg less str dmg, blade glavie more str dmg less int dmg BOW WONT BE CHANGED AT ALL. Since all veapons will be changed i think bow will be doomed without changed dmg -_-'' and i got 70:70

Hi!! I got this build too and I'm currently level 70 with a 9gap farming at nachals ^^
it's quite fun.. and do tons of damage.. I usually do Dimension holes 61-70 and max crit I do
on unique monster is 45k that is with zerk.. and 91k-92k if I get lucky and the avatar
ignore monster def takes effect.. 45k is done with the strong bow-vision skill btw ^^
