Drew's pk2 tools ? More easy method than that is hard to find.

lol fail theres 2 skilledits.txt so its not all that simple!

although u can use the manual imput on bentons tools i think? i havnt tried :S

Ye manual import works like a charm if the file ie keptin the right directory.

I don't know yet, and I'm not working so much on pk2 editting anymore due to school.

Crumpet? did you have find .. me i have check they use the hours like item privatecrew , if it's 24 hour change to privatecrew2, and when it 's 2 a.m change again for privatecrew

Cause when i edit for the wings dress my wings " fly " and my character just run :

because your doing it wrong.

ive already told u how to do this on a previous page. its because angel dress is just 1 whole dress. if you pk2 edit the knight avatar for example and put wings on it. you will float. then of you change the knight suit bsr to angel wings. you will have angel wings!

I TRIED it and there 's 2 Codes to get the whole angel wing !!
If you want a proof looke i ve got the 2 wings angel and devil !

i have tried.

change the code i forget what its called

ITEM_AVATER_M_ANGELWINGS

just that part. not the bsr. just that first section of the code with w.e you have and want to change to the wings

say... ITEM_AVATAR_M_HALLOWEEN
these are probably incorrect as i dont have the files on my laptop.
then boot up silkroad and see what the change is. what you should do after that will probably be obvious.

what perry had was the file i made following what i said above my post.... it does work. i just showed u it did.

and now to get the full wings all he would need to do is change the haloween costume BSR to the angelwings bsr.

hey everyone im doing the devil spirit pk2 edit project well almost finished

here is a pic of my project:



but the last part make it fly...

i have the codes of the flying of devil spirit
nasrun1_man_run.ban, nasrun1_man_shot.ban, nasrun1_man_stand.ban but... i dont find the codes of the character run/shot/stand to replace with the devil spirit ones and i cant find them in data.pk2 can anyone tell me this codes please, i thought that was the cart_run.ban / cart_stand01.ban but that was for horses so i reach the game and everyone in horses was flying lol

if someone know that codes tell me please, thanks

btw you are from aege so if you want i can log it because im from aege too ^^, and i post it because i need the character movement codes to make the dress fly like the original.

And for the people that use pk2 and like the dress i will make a tut how to make the full dress, but for the effects i edited them for the chinese skills so i dont know another way to do them and for the char skin its needed an avatar dress any one hat, body and acc...

Noticed the familiar character names in the back

I got lazy in pk2 editing, it's just the same game after all no matter what looks,
was just browsing around if anyone already did this or not.

The problem I didn't like that if I change my own items, ppl around will change too
with the same ones..

i just know the way to make the dress without the transformation but with other avatar
but try this with pk2 extractor extract media.pk2 file "charactervisualchange.txt" open the file and search for res\item\avatar\avatar_m_piratecrew_hat2.bsr if male or res\item\avatar\avatar_w_piratecrew_hat2.bsr if female and delete the "2", next search for res\item\avatar\avatar_m_piratecrew2.bsr if male or res\item\avatar\avatar_w_piratecrew2.bsr if female and delete the "2" again i am sure this will make the transformation from normal one to normal then save the file. make sure you backup it first. now use the pk2 editor to put the changed "charactervisualchange.txt" in the media again.



if it dont work just use the pk2 editor again and send the backup "charactervisualchange.txt" file to media.pk2 again and it will be normal again

Yeah I got the tools allready ( Not a pk2 virgin btw ;p )

Was messing with charactervisualchange.txt changing some of the variables .. but didn't occur to me that changing the actual bsr line would change anything ;p

Everything worked perfect .. except for 1 bit. 'Before' I would transform into a skeleton my hat turns into the undead version .. then when I should turn into a skeleton ( Which I now turned off ) the hat changes back to normal. It's almost like there are 2 stages.

yeah lol looks strange.. after i post this to you i tried to make halloween transforming and it doenst work in the normal part i have halloween and then when reach the transformation part i transformed myself into an armored skull ( which i had my normal armor but i was transformed into a skull and if i took off my armor only that way i had the transformation normal xD) sorry dude dont know how to make what you want to even what i wanted i can only make the basic part transform any avatar dress in a single part or transformed or dont ^^

alright. so what i wanna do is replace my horse with the 3 headed cerberus without the man on top. i tried just going replace>replace all and hitting horse_2 thing or whatever and replacing it with kerberos or whatever... didnt work. that was in media.pk2. whatd i do worng?

Sorry but I don't pk2 edit anymore. It's probable best to ask some other people ^^
